INET syllabus 2022 outlines the topics and sub-topics under sections such as English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, Generak Science, Mathematical Aptitude & General Knowledge. The standard of the syllabus is of graduation level. INET syllabus of the English Language section is framed to test the candidates' understanding of grammar. The topics in the syllabus of Reasoning and Numerical Ability assess a candidate's logical and calculative skills. INET syllabus for General Science is of high school level. The syllabus of General Knowledge is designed to test the candidate's awareness of current affairs. To prepare for the exam, candidates must go through the syllabus of INET and get themselves familarise with the topics.

INET Exam Pattern

INET exam pattern is such that it comprises computer based test and SSB interview. The test paper is divided into four sections and contains 100 objective-type multiple choice questions. The total marks allotted to the test are 400. There is also negative marking of one mark for wrong answers and four marks are deducted for correct answers. The structure of INET exam pattern is given below.

SSB Interview

SSB Interview is conducted for the candidates who qualifies the INET exam. The SSB interview is conducted in two stages-Stage I comprises Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test and Stage II comprises Psychological testing, Group testing and interview.

The English Language section of INET tests a candidate’s knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. The topics prescribed for English are given below:
