Yes, it is mandatory for candidates to appear for both KSET Paper 1 and 2 to qualify for the KSET exam. The candidates have to qualify for both papers separately. Candidates who will qualify for one paper will not be considered as qualified for the KSET exam. Paper 1 consists 50 questions for 100 marks. Paper 2 consists 100 questions for 200 marks. The candidates are advised to study paper 1 as paper 2 or they will not qualify for the KSET exam.

There is no limit to the number of attempts allowed for the KSET exam. As long as a candidate meets the eligibility criteria, they can appear for the exam in any number of attempts. The KSET exam is conducted twice a year, and candidates who are not able to qualify in one attempt can appear for the next cycle of the exam. However, it is important to note that candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for each attempt and pay the application fee for each attempt separately. Also, candidates who have already qualified for the KSET exam are eligible to appear again for the same subject and category.

The difficulty level of the KSET exam may vary from subject to subject and from one exam cycle to another. However, in general, the KSET exam is considered to be a moderately difficult exam that tests the candidates' knowledge, comprehension, analytical and reasoning abilities, and research aptitude. The exam consists of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. The KSET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test) is a state-level exam conducted by the Karnataka Eam Authority. The exam is conducted once a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor. The exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. f) Syllabus: Based on the subject selected by the candidate. The KSET exam is conducted in online mode. The questions in both papers are in English and Hindi except for languages other than English and Hindi.

NCERT books can be beneficial for the aspirants in the initial days of preparation, especially for paper 1. However, it will not cover all the topics in detail. Sometimes KSET exam covers a wide range from all topics and may the NCERT book will not cover the topics in depth. Therefore, the candidates are advised to go through the detailed books and other study materials. Additionally solving previous years' question papers are taking mock tests can also be helpful in preparing for the KSET exam.
