The KVPY exam will not be conducted from 2022 onwards. The Department of Science and Technology has decided to club the KVPY exam with INSPIRE fellowship.

KVPY Result 2021 has been released by IISc Bangalore on June 24. The result has been released in the form of a provisional merit list for each of the three streams- SA, SX, and SB. The marks of all the candidates who appeared for the Aptitude Test can be obtained from the KVPY website from July. The KVPY 2021 exam has been conducted on May 22, 2022. "

"The marks of all the candidates who appeared for the Aptitude Test can be obtained from KVPY website by logging in with the application number and date of birth during the month of July 2022," reads the official KVPY website.

Students must note that the KVPY Result 2021 released will be provisional and based on their marks. The award of the KVPY Fellowship will be subject to verification of the relevant documents.

Along with the result, the conducting body has also released the KVPY cutoff 2021 online. Cutoff is the minimum score a candidate needs in order to qualify for KVPY fellowship. The results for the aptitude test are released in the form of a PDF that comprises category-wise names, application numbers and roll numbers of candidates who have cleared the written aptitude test
Candidates who have achieved the KVPY 2021 cutoff will be able to find their name in the PDF of KVPY result 2021.

However, in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, no interviews will be conducted this year and the result will be prepared on the basis of the aptitude test.

KVPY Toppers 2021

The names of the toppers for KVPY has also been released. The KVPY Merit Lists have been released online on the kVPY website. Patel Samarth Bhagyesh from SA stream General category has emerged as the topper, while from SX stream, Vetna Gnana Mahesh and Omm Agrawal from SB streams have secured the first rank, respectively from their streams.

How to check KVPY result 2021

  1. Visit the official website of KVPY— kvpy.iisc.ernet.in
  2. Click on the ‘Results’ tab
  3. Choose your category against your stream – SA, SX or SB
  4. A new window will open on your screen
  5. Check for your name in the KVPY merit list
  6. Download and save the KVPY 2021 Result
  7. Take a printout and secure it for future references

Final KVPY Result 2021

The final KVPY result is calculated after compiling the scores obtained in the aptitude test and the interview. The final result can be calculated as follows-

Final KVPY Result = 75% of marks obtained in KVPY aptitude test + 25% marks obtained in the interview

The list of the candidates selected is generally prepared as per the KVPY result for the aptitude test and the interview.

For KVPY 2020, the KVPY Result was released on March 16, 2021. KVPY marks for the aptitude test were released on the official website of KVPY on April 22.

Students must carry the following documents while going for the interview round:

  • Interview call letter

  • For SA/SX stream, attested copy of 10th class mark sheet

  • For SB, attested copy of class 12 mark sheet

  • Caste certificate for SC/ST students

  • Medical certificate for physically disabled students

  • A Self-Appraisal form (To be downloaded from the official website)

  • Study certificate form issued by Principal/Head of the current Institution

  • Teacher recommendation form attested by the teacher (in a sealed envelope)

The registration dates are easily available on the websites of these institutes.

Generally, the registration starts from the month of Deember for the upcoming batch for most of the colleges. And the last date is generally around March or April.
