NTA Exams 2025: National Testing Agency conducts various exams every year for admissions to Undergraduate and postgraduate courses. NTA has released the CSIR UGC NET 2025 application form online at the official website. Applicants can fill CSIR UGC NET application form 2025 at csirnet.nta.ac.in. The last date to fill CSIR UGC NET application form is December 30. However, applicants can pay CSIR NET application fee till December 31 in online mode. CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam will be conducted from February 16 to 28 in online mode. UGC NET 2025 exam will be conducted from January 1 to 19. NTA concluded the JEE Main 2025 session 1 application form correction facility. Applicants who made any mistakes at the time of registration could make corrections through NTA JEE Main application form correction facility 2025. NTA has closed the JEE Main 2025 application form session 1. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering courses could fill JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to fill JEE Main session 1 application form 2025 was November 22. NTA has also announced the JEE Main exam date 2025 session 1.

As per the schedule, JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from January 22 to 31 in online computer based mode. The exam authority has introduced changes in JEE Main 2025 exam pattern. NTA has also launched the JEE Main 2025 official website. As per the JEE Mains new pattern, there will be a total of 5 numerical questions instead of 10. Applicants will not be given any choice to attempt questions of their choices in JEE Main 2025. All the questions asked in JEE Main 2025 exam are now compulsory. The application process for NTA 2025 exams comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of fee. Applicants who fill the application form of NTA 2025 before the last date will be eligible to appear for the exam. The authorities also provide NTA correction facility after the conclusion of application process. Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to check the NTA syllabus 2025 and exam pattern for their preparations. What is NTA?

NTA full form is National Testing Agency. NTA is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The authority is responsible for to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions. The primary objective of National Testing Agency is to conduct efficient, transparent and international standards tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission, and recruitment purposes.  

Various Exams Conducted by NTA

National Testing Agency conducts various exams every year for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Interested candidates first need to fill the NTA application form 2025 and appear for the exam as per the schedule. The list of NTA exams 2025 is given in the table below. 

JEE Main: NTA conducts JEE Main exam every year for the admissions to BE/BTech and BArch/BPlan offered by various participating institutes like NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. NTA JEE Main exam is conducted for two papers paper 1 is for admissions to BTech courses while paper 2 is conducted for BArch courses. JEE Main exam is also considered as eligibility test for JEE Advanced. NTA has released the JEE Main application form 2025 at the official website. The authorities is going to conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam in two phases. Interested candidates are advised to keep checking the official website regularly for updates. NEET UG: NEET full form is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. NTA conducts the NEET exam every year for admissions to MBBS and BDW courses offered by various participating institutes. The exam is conducted in offline mode for a duration of 200 minutes. NTA will soon release the NEET 2025 application form at the official website.

CMAT: Common Management Admission Test is conducted by NTA every year for the admissions to MBA/PGDM courses offered by various participating institutes. NTA CMAT exam is conducted in an online computer-based mode for a total of 100 questions. 

GPAT: NTA conducts Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test every year for the admissions to MPharma or equivalent courses. NTA GPAT exam is conducted in online computer-based mode for a duration of 3 hours. Applicants appearing for the exam can find the useful links from below.

UGC NET: UGC NET full form is University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test. NTA conducts UGC NET exam every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for only Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor posts in Indian universities and colleges.

NTA Eligibility Criteria 2025

National Testing Agency releases the eligibility criteria of NTA separately for all the exam at the official website. Applicants appearing for the exam are advised to must check the NTA eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria comprise educational qualification, age limit and others. Any candidate who will be found ineligible at the time of admission will be disqualified from the admission process. JEE Main 2025 eligibility criteria 

  • There is no age limit for aspirants seeking to appear for JEE Main. 
  • Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2022 or 2025 will be eligible to appear for JEE Main 2025. 
  • Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE Main 2025 (Paper 1) which includes: Language, Physics, Mathematics, any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject) and any other subject.

NEET 2025 eligibility criteria  

  • Aspirants must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the required age on or before December 31 of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. 
  • The number of attempts which an aspirant can avail will be limited to 3 (three) uniformly to all the candidates. Appearance in NEET UG 2025 will be counted as first attempt.

DU JAT 2025 eligibility criteria  

  • Aspirants who have passed their senior secondary from CBSE or any other recognized board 
  • Aspirants who have appeared in their final exams and their results are awaited can also apply for DU JAT 
  • Candidates must have secured 60% (55% for SC/ST/CW/PwD and 54% for OBC (Non-Creamy) categories) in class 12 examination. 
  • The aggregate should be based on the marks in four papers – English, Mathematics and any other two subjects provided by the Delhi University 
  • Candidates must have passed in all the four subjects (English, Mathematics and any other two subjects provided by the Delhi University) 
  • Those belonging to OBC-non creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD/CW categories should carry a category certificate at the time of admission

GPAT 2025 eligibility criteria  

  • Aspirants interested in appearing for GPAT 2025 must be an Indian citizen. 
  • Aspirants interested in appearing for GPAT 2025 must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized University. 

CMAT 2025 eligibility criteria  

  • CMAT 2025 aspirant must have completed Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university. 
  • Final year Graduation students (10+2+3) are also eligible to apply for CMAT, provided their results are declared before the commencement of admission for 2025.

UGC NET 2025 eligibility criteria 

Aspirants must have secured at least 55% marks in their Master’s degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc) from a UGC-recognized college/ university.

NCHMCT JEE 2025 eligibility criteria  

  • Candidates should have completed their 10+2 level from a recognized Central/ State Board 
  • Candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent exam in the year 2025 are also eligible to appear for NCHMCT JEE 2025 on provisional basis.

NTA eligibility criteria for post-graduate programs

NTA Application Process 2025

The National Testing Agency releases the NTA application form 2025 at its official website. Applicants looking for admission to various programs have to fill the application form of NTA before the last date. The application process of NTA comprises registration, filling form, document upload and payment of fee. The step-wise guide to fill the NTA application form is given below. 

NTA registration 2025: The first step is to complete the NTA registration using personal details like corresponding address, email ID, phone number and others. 

Filling NTA application form: The next step is to login using registration number and date of birth/password to fill the application form. Applicants will be required to fill their educational qualification and other details. 

Uploading documents: In the next step, applicants will be requiring to upload the required documents as per the specifications.  

Payment of NTA fee: After filling all details and uploading documents, applicants need to pay the NTA application fee in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, UPI and others.  

Preview and submit NTA form: The final step is to preview all details and submit the NTA application form for future reference. 

NTA Admission Process 2025

Step 1: Fill application form 

Candidates can fill the application forms for the exams conducted by NTA – JEE Main, NEET, GPAT, CMAT and UGC NET - in online mode on the official website. After filling the form, candidates also need to pay the application fee for the respective exams. The application fee from exam to exam. 

Step 2: Download admit card 

Once the application form is successfully submitted and fee is paid, candidates can download the admit card for their respective admit cards in online mode from the official website of the agency. Candidates can download their admit card by using their application number and date of birth/ password. 

Step 3: Appear for exams conducted by NTA 

Next, candidates need to appear for their respective exams conducted by NTA exam at the allotted test centre. The paper pattern varies depending on the exam a candidate is appearing for.    

Step 4: Check exam result declared by NTA 

Once the exam is successfully conducted, NTA will release results for different exams on its official website. Candidates can check result for their respective exam by using their roll number and date of birth. The results will contain details such as a candidate’s name, exam qualifying status, marks secured, ranks etc. 

Note: Given above is generic process for exams conducted by NTA. The process may have some additional steps such as counselling and interview depending on the exam a candidate is appearing for.

Yes. The authority released the UGC NET 2024 schedule for the December session. The UGC NET 2024 December schedule has been released on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The December session exam will be conducted from January 1, 2025 to January 19, 2025.
