RRB NTPC Exam Centres 2024: City Intimation Slip for CBTST & CBT 2 Exam

RRB NTPC city intimation slip is released 10 days before the exam. The city intimation slip is released so that candidates can make travel arrangements inorder to reach the exam centre. Candidates can check the city intimation slip by logging with the required credentials. The city intimation slip is not the admit card and it does not carry the details related to the exam centre. The details related to the exam centre is released along with the admit card.

SC/ST candidates who opt for free travel facility, RRB NTPC call letter for CBT, CBAT/TST, DV contains information regarding the free travel authority. Such candidates are allowed to book their tickets after they submit a self-attested photocopy of the RRB NTPC admit card and SC/ST Certificate. Candidates need to download their admit cards online. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter user ID and password. RRB NTPC admit card is an important document for the exam without which candidates are not given entry to the examination centre. Candidates need to carry their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. RRB NTPC admit card carries important information related to the exam.

In the self-declaration part of RRB NTPC admit card, candidates are required to write a paragraph saying that the details they have entered in the application form are correct and complete. They should not write the self-declaration in capital letters. Likewise, blank spaces are also provided for signature and left thumb impression. The official notification reads, "Candidates should leave blank spaces provided in the downloaded e-Call letter for writing self-declaration paragraph (as the paragraph will be displayed on the screen during CBT), signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) unfilled while coming for the exam." Candidates are required to write the paragraph of self-declaration, sign and affix the left thumb impression at the exam venue in the presence of the invigilator at the exam hall only. After this, they have to hand over the admit card to the invigilator.

Applicants must possess a Gazette Notification or relevant legal documentation for name changes and be prepared to present it upon request during the recruitment process. The same should be submitted at the time of DV. Applicants should also have to fill the original name and the changed name during ‘Create an Account’. In such cases, both the names will be reflected in the application

The steps to view the RRB NTPC exam city are given below:

• Visit the official websites of 21 RRBs
• Click the link 'Login to view exam city'
• Enter user ID and password
• The details of the exam city will appear on the screen
• Check the exam city and save the details

Candidates can check their allotted exam centres through the official RRB websites. Visit the Official Website for your region. Navigate to view your exam centre details. Your exam centre details will be mentioned on your admit card. 

The following documents are required to be taken to RRB NTPC exam centre:

• RRB NTPC Admit card
• Photo ID (Includes Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Ration Card, etc.)
• A passport-size photograph

RRB NTPC city intimation and admit card are two separate things. RRB NTPC city intimation slip is released 10 days before the exam whereas the admit card released four days before the exam. Candidates can download the city slip to check the allotted test city. The details regarding the exam centres are mentioned in the admit card.

Candidates need to follow the guidelines for RRB NTPC exam:

• Candidates should reach RRB NTPC exam centre at least an hour before the exam commences

• Banned items are electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pager, watches, Bluetooth, calculator, metallic wears, bangles, belts, bracelets, books, papers, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
• Candidates should not carry pen/pencil inside the test centre
• Pen will be provide during the exam
• Candidates should not apply henna/Mehendi because there will be biometric capture

RRB NTPC admit card for CBT is released online on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. The admit card for PET, document verification and medical exam is released by the Railway Recruitment Cells. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with user ID and password. The steps to download RRB NTPC admit card are given below:

• Visit the official website of RRBs
• Candidates need to click the 'RRB NTPC admit card' link on the home page
• In the login page, candidates need to enter user ID and password
• RRB NTPC admit card appears on the screen
• Download the RRB NTPC admit card and take its printout

Candidates should make their own travel arrangements. Train tickets are provided to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Candidate availing free train tickets are required to download free travelling authority. They are required to  show the free travelling authority while going for the exam.

RRB NTPC admit card download link will be made available four days before the exam. The link to download the admit card will be made available on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. Candidates can download their admit cards from the region they have applied for by logging with the required credentials.

RRB NTPC admit card is released online only by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). There is no facility to download the admit card offline. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with user ID and password. RRB NTPC admit card comprises the details related to the exam. Candidates need to carry the printed copy of their admit cards to the exam centre.

The first stage CBT of RRB NTPC comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The test paper carries a total of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The first stage CBT is qualifying in nature. The test carries 100 marks.
