RRB NTPC Eligibility 2024: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have revised RRB NTPC eligibility. The revision has been done in the age limit. Candidates applying for graduate posts should be between 18 to 36 years old. Candidates applying for undergraduate posts should be aged between 18 to 33 years. The age limit of candidates will be calculated as on January 1, 2025. RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select candidates for various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) positions in the Indian Railways’ Zonal Railways and Production Units. RRB NTPC Eligibility 2024: Nationality
Candidates applying for RRB NTPC must be:
- An Indian citizen
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with to permanently settle in India.

RRB NTPC Typing Proficiency
Candidates must also have typing proficiency as per RRB NTPC eligibility. This is required for the positions such as Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk Cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist, and Station Master. Candidates are required to undergo typing test in the second round of selection.

The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 and 2 for General, EWS categories is 40 per cent, for OBC and SC is 30 per cent and for ST category is 25 per cent.
