RRB NTPC Cutoff 2024: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) release RRB NTPC cut off for different stages of recruitment such as CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable), and final selection. The cut off of RRB NTPC 2024 will be released separately for different categories and posts in a PDF form. Usually, the cut off marks are made available along with the RRB NTPC result. Besides the RRB NTPC 2024 cut off, candidates will also have to secure the qualifying marks as per their categories. Candidates who secure both the cut off marks and qualifying marks in RRB NTPC exam are declared qualified for each stage of the recruitment process. Q: What is RRB NTPC cut off?
RRB NTPC cut off is the minimum qualifying that candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. The examination authority releases both sectional and overall cut off marks. The cut off marks are released category-wise and state-wise. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are selected for the next round of selection.

Q: Is there minimum qualifying marks in RRB NTPC exam?
Yes, there is a minimum qualifying cut off in RRB NTPC exam. The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 and 2 for General, EWS categories is 40 per cent, for OBC and SC is 30 per cent and for ST category is 25 per cent. In CBAT, candidates are required to secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks. Besides, cut off marks, candidates are also required to secure the qualifying marks as per their categories. Candidates need to secure the qualifying marks in CBTs and CBAT inorder to qualify the exam. The CBT 1 comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the CBT 1 are 100. The CBT 2 comprises questions from General Questions Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total marks allotted to the test are 120.

- The number of candidates appearing in the exam plays a major role in deciding the cutoff marks. If the number of candidates appearing in the exam is high, then the cutoff increases

- The number of vacancies decides the zone-wise cutoff marks. If the number of vacancies in a particular zone of RRB is more, then the cutoff marks are low
