The result is released in PDF form and comprises the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The scorecard is released along with the result. Yes, there is a minimum qualifying cut off in RRB NTPC exam. The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 and 2 for General, EWS categories is 40 per cent, for OBC and SC is 30 per cent and for ST category is 25 per cent. In CBAT, candidates are required to secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks. Besides, cut off marks, candidates are also required to secure the qualifying marks as per their categories. Candidates need to secure the qualifying marks in CBTs and CBAT inorder to qualify the exam. The CBT 1 comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the CBT 1 are 100. The CBT 2 comprises questions from General Questions Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total marks allotted to the test are 120.

The raw score of RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam is computed as below:

• Total questions - 100
• No of questions ignored (question wrong, multiple options correct, etc.): 2
• No of questions attempted: 60
• No of questions attempted correctly: 54
• No. of wrongly answers: 6
• Positive marks: 54
• Negative marks: 2
• Net score: 54-2=52
• Score out of 100: (52/98)*100= 53.06
• Raw score= 53.06

• In case of two or more candidates secure the same marks, the merit position in RRB NTPC exam is determined based on the age criteria, older candidates are placed at higher merit
• In case the age is the same, then alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name is taken into account to break the tie

RRB NTPC result can be checked online only. The hard copy of the result is not sent to candidates by post. Candidates can download their results by logging with the required credentials. Candidates need to qualify each round inorder to get shortlisted.

RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary range offered to undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. While, the graduate post employees are offered RRB NTPC salary in the range of INR 25,500 to INR 35,400. The monthly basic salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900 while it is INR 35,400 for Station Master and Commercial Apprentice. Candidates are also entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), pension benefits, and medical reimbursements.
