NEET MDS 2025 exam date has been announced for BHU admission to the MDS and PG Diploma (Dental) courses. The NEET MDS 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Jan 31, 2025.

BHU admissions 2025 are open. A few more updates are given below:

The CUET PG registration process 2025 is open for admission to PG courses, and the last date to register is Feb 1, 2025. Further, the CUET PG 2025 exam will be scheduled between Mar 13, 2025 and Mar 31, 2025.
The CUET UG registration process 2025 for admission to UG courses will commence tentatively during the last week of Feb 2025. The CUET UG 2025 exam dates will be announced soon.
NEET UG counselling 2024 has concluded after the declaration of Special Stray Vacancy Round 3 seat allotment result for admission to the MBBS course. For the next academic year, the NEET UG 2025 exam is expected to be conducted on May 4, 2025.

History of Banaras Hindu University (BHU):

BHU has often been referred to by different names throughout the history and present. Some of the English names include Banaras University, Benares Hindu University, and Hindu University.
Banaras Hindu University was founded by Indian Home Rule-leaguer and Theosophist, Annie Besant in 1898.
After Besant, the university was established by Madan Mohan Malaviya. With over 30,000 students, and 18,000 residing on campus.
To promote the university's expansion, Malviya invited eminent guest speakers such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jagadish Chandra Bose, C V Raman, and Besant to deliver a series of lectures between 5-8 February 1916.
Kashi Naresh provided the land for BHU, approx 1,300 acres.
The university's anthem, called Kulgeet, was composed by university professor and eminent scientist Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar.
