Not great infrastructure, but good ambience.
Placements: For B.A. Hons. psychology, there are very few placements anywhere, and the same goes for the course in psychology, but I am not very aware of the placements that are done in other courses, and there is a placement cell that helps students in the process as well as other skills like CV writing.
Infrastructure: The college remains in constant disarray, and there is an entire wing of the college that is under construction, which leaves everyone with a shortage of classes that has made it hard to enjoy the campus. However, there is air conditioning in the labs in the psychology department that makes summers bearable.
Faculty: The professors are extremely supportive and helpful. While there are occasional not-so-great moments with the teachers, the overall faculty is nice. The curriculum that the university follows is quite inclusive and extensive and offers good exposure.

Daulat Ram College from the Lens of 2021-2024 batch.
Placements: Most of my seniors ended up going for a Master's in Psychology in really good universities. Some of my seniors are currently pursuing Forensic Psychology in King's College London. We often have them visit the college from time to time and all of them are doing really well.
Infrastructure: Currently, the college hostel is under construction. However, considering its a girls' college, we have pad dispensers as well which other colleges do not usually offer. The pad dispensers were weirdly enough one of the reasons why I chose this college. As for classrooms, labs and library, it's all very well built. Psychology has its own department within the college as well. Although, the canteen could use some work. Besides that, the infrastructure is pretty okay overall .
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified as per my course. They teach really well and they're easy to understand too. They're very willing to listen to your queries and doubts. They're also very understanding so in the case of inability to reach a deadline due to some issues, they listen and understand. If you need any sort of help also, they're always ready to lend a hand. They also lok out for you and send you links of webinars or workshops to take part in that will enrich you. The exams will go well as long as you study your part, obviously. But the syllabus also teaches you what you need to study and prepares you for your future career prospects.
Other: Be sure to join societies. Aside from your course mates, societies help you to venture out and meet new people. I was briefly a part of the Western Music Society and it enabled me to participate in inter-college fests and competitions. It was also how I MET so many amazing seniors of mine.

Psychology is a very good course, but I am not satisfied with the infrastructure of the college.
Placements: I haven't heard much about placements in the college. We do have a placement cell, and I guess the placements depend on your course. Psychology students usually go for Master's after graduation, but the placement cell does offer internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college isn't good. The campus is very small compared to other colleges on the North campus. Construction is going on. There is no network in the college. Wi-Fi is useless. Only the Airtel network works at times. The canteen is average, and a Nescafe is also available in the college. The medical room is closed most of the time. The library isn't up to the mark, and air-conditioners aren't functional.
Faculty: Our department is one of the best, and the teachers are amazing, very considerate and humble. They provide flexible deadlines for submissions too. The lectures are very interactive. The psychology department in DRC is one of the best and top departments of DU colleges.
Other: Psychology as a course is very insightful. If you are fascinated by human (and animal) behavior, and you want to know in-depth, then this course is for you. Not only that, this course makes you introspect and understand and assess your own self and others better. There are innumerable career options in this field too.

Amazing faculty, but under-average infrastructure.
Placements: While the college in itself stands average in its position and infrastructure, my course and department stood out in all aspects. The placement cell of the college offered opportunities for all other courses but did not have much to offer for psychology. Only a small number of placement positions for psychology oriented and even if they claimed to be related to the subject, the work was rather generic and did not offer much closure. The top roles offered in my course at the undergraduate level are usually market research intern, HR intern etc.
Infrastructure: If I talk about my department, the corridors are well-ventilated, the labs are equipped with good quality instruments and almost every room has an air conditioner installed. On the other hand, the college does not provide the students with such facilities. The hostel is not functional for 3 years and there is not much hope for it to be working any soon.
Faculty: The faculty of the psychology department is at par in comparison to other Delhi University colleges. The teachers provide a friendly atmosphere and are very helpful. Every professor in the department is knowledgeable and qualified in their respective fields. The curriculum and the coursework are also very effective and proficient. The coursework involves practical learning of the subject which helps the student to grab the subject very easily. The semester exams are moderate in difficulty, it's easier to pass the subject only when the student is equipped with the course and is attending classes regularly.

Psychology department is literally 'paisa wasool'.
Placements: Major recruitments are done from courses such as BBA, B.Com etc. If you do internships then the chances of getting placed are high. But usually, students from the psychology department go for master's and avoid campus placements. If you want to get placed and need a goof package you can go for off-campus recruitments.
Infrastructure: Our college is in the construction phase and overall I would rate it 3 out of 5 for the infrastructure but the psychology department is the best one. This department has its labs with Air conditioners. The hostel is getting constructed as well so currently, they're not accomodating students. Wi-Fi is there in the college but everyone cannot access its password. The canteen is okay.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. They teach nicely as well and also support students to participate in extracurricular activities. The course curriculum is relevant and it does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult, you can easily pass them.
Other: The psychology department is the best in our college. It organises extracurricular activities regularly. In fact, in the online mode, this department has been the most active. The teachers of this department are supportive. Since the college is located on the north campus you'll and surrounded by various other colleges you'll get good exposure here.

Hi Hemanta, Relaxation in cutoff will be given to those who belong to SC, ST, OBC, PWD, defence personnel etc. based on the seats available in that particular college. Second or third round cutoff goes lesser than the first round. So you need to appear in all the rounds. Best of luck.
