D-ART exam is conducted in two parts – Part A (Human Factor) and Part B (Knowledge Validation). Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must familiarize themselves with D-ART exam pattern 2023 for both parts/ papers.

D-ART Exam Pattern for Part A (Human Factor)

Part-A of D-ART is conducted in online mode after the registration for the exam is over. No admit card is required for this exam. Candidates need to submit the answers of Human factor paper in a duration of seven days. Total marks that candidates can score in Human Factor paper are 300.

Candidates receive instructions regarding the exam through email. They need to write down their answers for the paper by following the guidelines mentioned in the email. Candidates need to submit the answers by logging in to their registered accounts on the official website of the exam. It may be noted that Human Factor paper is a pre-requisite to appear for Part-B of D-ART exam, Knowledge Validation paper.   

Section-Wise D-ART Exam Pattern for Part A (Human Factor)

Human Factor paper is divided into four sections as mentioned below:

This section of the paper evaluates the background of candidates on the basis of the following parameters:

Section 2: Video SOP

In this section, a topic is given to candidates on the spot during the exam slot. Candidates are required to submit a video of 10 minutes catering to the requirements as demanded in the topic.

Section 3: Thematic Apperception Test

Here, a slideshow of 6 to 12 images appear on the computer screen. Candidates need to come up with a creative story containing a title, an introduction, a body, a hero and an ending.

Section 4: Social Skills Test

In this section, a set of questions is asked to candidates which they need to answer as per the instructions. This section aims at assessing the typical behaviour of candidates when presented with different situations and preferred way of going about things.

Section-Wise D-ART Exam Pattern for Part B (Knowledge Validation)

Part-B or Knowledge Validation is a centre-based exam conducted in online mode. Candidates need to complete the exam in a duration of three hours. The paper contains a total of 200 questions of 400 marks.

The Knowledge Validation paper contains three sections - Comprehensive section, Elective section, and Aptitude section. Given below is section-wise D-ART 2023 exam pattern for Knowledge Validation paper:
