AILET admit card 2025 - The National Law University (NLU), Delhi issued the AILET 2025 admit card on November 27, 2024, through its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the website and logging in with their AILET 2025 application number and password.  

The AILET 2025 exam was conducted on December 8, 2024, in offline mode. The admit card is a compulsory document that must be carried in printed form to the AILET 2025 exam centers. Candidates without the admit card will not be permitted to take the exam.

The exam takers also need to carry a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card. The AILET 2025 admit card contains details like the name, roll number, and date and time of the exam.

Q:   Will I receive the hardcopy of the AILET admit card by post?

A:

Candidates must note that the NLU Delhi will release the AILET Admit Card online on its official website; i.e. nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The NLU Delhi do not send anyone's admit card through post. On exam day, the candidate must without fail carry with them the admit card and a valid photo ID proof. 

Candidates should download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidates photograph clearly). Also, candidates should carry extra printouts of the admit card on exam day to be on a safer side in case they misplace it.

Q:   When will AILET 2025 admit card be released?

A:

The AILET 2025 admit card will be released on November 27, 2024, on the official website of AILET 2025 - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To download the admit card, candidates need to follow the two steps mentioned below:

  1. Go to the official AILET portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  2. Log in to your candidate account using the registered email address and password you created at the time of registration.

Once you log in, your admit card will appear on the screen. Download it as a PDF and create multiple color photocopies of this admit card to carry to the test center on the exam day.

How to Download AILET Admit Card 2025?

To download the AILET hall ticket, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NLU Delhi - http://www.nludelhi.ac.in. 

Step 2: Click on the AILET Admissions button.

Step 3: Click on the 'Already Registered? Login' button.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the login window where you need to enter the following details:

  • Application number
  • Password

Step 4: Click on Login button.

Step 5: View, download, save and print the AILET admit card.

Note: Candidates should proceed to download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidates photograph clearly). Also, candidates should get extra printouts of the admit card to be on a safer side in case they misplace it.

Q:   In case I lose my AILET admit card, what should I do?

A:

AILET 2025 Admit Card is an important document and candidates must try not to misplace or lose it. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the AILET Exam 2025. Even after the exam, AILET Admit Card 2025 is required for counselling and must be kept safe until whole admission process is over. However, in case the candidate looses their AILET admit card, they can visit the official website of the exam, download and reprint the document.

Q:   Is the admit card available right after AILET application form is submitted?

A:

No, the admit card of AILET is issued at least 10 days before the examination after NLUD assess the total applicants and availability of seats at the testing locations. The admit card will be made available for download on the official website of the institute; i.e. nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The National Law University, Delhi will tentatively release the admit card for AILET 2025 in the fourth week of November 2024. The admit cards are issued to candidates who have successfully completed the AILET 2025 application process.

Q:   Do I need to carry photographs along with AILET 2025 admit card on the exam day?

A:

Yes, candidates should carry two stamp size photograph on the exam day along with the admit card. This photograph had to be affixed on the attendance sheet in front of the invigilator. The passport-size photograph should be the same as that uploaded during the AILET 2025 application process.  On the day of the AILET exam, candidates need to adhere to some guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

Problems in Downloading AILET 2025 Admit Card

There might be situations where candidates may face some problems in downloading the admit card, for this, they should check:

  • Internet speed: Check if the internet connection is working fine. If not then wait for some time and download admit card again when there is good internet speed.
  • Technical glitch: All the applicants start downloading their admit card as soon as it is available and hence, the website may face a technical glitch due to heavy traffic or some other reason. In such a case, candidates are advised to wait for some time and try again to download the admit card later.
  • Incorrect credentials: Candidates should ensure that they are entering correct login details and if they forgot any details then they can check the confirmation email they had received at the time of registration. Or they can click on 'forgot password' to receive it on their email address.

No. Candidates must carry at least two printed copies of the admit card to the exam centre. Candidates must note that no electronic devices are allowed during the exam. As per the guidelines by the NLU Delhi, the admit card hard copy is mandatory to be presented at the time of appearing in the exam. The hard copy/print out of the AILET admit card is the only valid proof of identification and verification which is acceptable at the AILET test centre. On the day of the AILET exam, candidates need to adhere to some guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process.

  • Candidates must ensure carrying all the important documents and things (mentioned below) to the allotted test centre
  • Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam
  • Candidates should follow all the instructions given by the exam centre authorities and invigilators
  • Candidates should not indulge in any unfair means during the exam 

 

Q:   What are the things to carry to AILET exam centre 2025?

A:

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • AILET admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card. 
  • Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Stationary: Since the AILET 2025 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
  • Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
  • Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.

Documents to carry on AILET 2025 Exam Day

On the AILET 2025 exam day, it is important for candidates to carry the the below-mentioned documents and things to the allotted exam centre:

  • Admit card: AILET 2025 admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the AILET exam.
  • Photo ID proof: Candidates are advised to carry any one original photo ID proof to the allotted AILET exam centre. Documents that candidates can present as ID proof include PAN Card/Driving's License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card/ Ration Card.
  • Photo: Candidates should also carry two stamp-size photographs to the exam centre (preferably be the same as used at the time of filling the AILET application form.
  • Disability certificate: Candidates belonging to Persons with Disability (PwD) category, must carry with themselves the copy of the disability certificate issued by the competent authority. The certificate will be helpful on the day of the exam for availing the facility of scribe/extra time.
  • Stationary: Since AILET is an offline exam, candidates should not forget to carry at least one pencil and two ballpoint pens of black and blue colours to the exam centre

Along with knowing important documents and things to be carried, it is also important to know the list of items prohibitted inside the test centre:

Q:   How would I know my AILET exam centre?

A:

Candidates will know their allotted AILET exam centre only from the admit card. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the AILET admit card. The examination authority allots a test centre to aspirants in the city of their first preference as mentioned in the city. So, candidates can atleast be assured that they will get a test centre in the city they had chosen as first preference in the AILET application form. However, the venue will be mentioned only on the candidate’s admit card. So as soon as the AILET admit card is released, candidates must check the test city and test centre details. In order to avoid any confusion, they must visit the centre at least once before the exam day.

Q:   Can I change my exam centre as mentioned on the admit card of AILET 2025?

A:

No, the allotted exam centre cannot be changed at any stage after submission of the application form. Candidates will have to appear at the allotted test centre only. However, any incorrect detail related to the exam centre on the admit card can be reported to NLU Delhi to get it corrected.

The National Law University Delhi (NLUD) will conduct the pen-and-paper-based AILET 2025 exam. The exam will be held in 24 cities across the country. Each of these exam cities may have one or more test centres. The candidate had to select their choice of exam cities at the time of filling out the AILET 2025 application form. A maximum of THREE cities could be selected (in the order of priority).

Q:   Should the AILET 2025 admit card printout be coloured or black and white?

A:

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of the admit card. However, it is not compulsory. NLU Delhi has not stated any guideline regarding this. They must also ensure that they have two to three spare copies of the admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, she/he can take a black and white printout of the AILET 2025 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible.
