- Halls: There are 19 halls of residence for students (13 for boys and 6 for girls) with 80 hostels. The Halls are named after people associated with the Aligarh Movement and the university. Sir Syed Hall is the oldest Hall of the university. The entrance exam is a computer-based test consisting of 100 questions (1 mark each), divided into four sections and they are as under:
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension: 25 Marks
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning: 25 Marks
- Quantitative Ability: 25 Marks
- General Awareness: 25 Marks
Those who qualify for the entrance exam will be selected for the counselling process followed by document verification and fee payment for final seat allotment.
