Admission through IRMASAT is now being done based on the scores obtained by the students in the CAT/ XAT/ CMAT exams. Candidates can appear for the Personal Interview conducted at the IRMA centre to secure admission at IRMA.
IRMA uses CAT 2024/ XAT 2025/CMAT 2025 scores to shortlist candidates. Selected candidates are thereafter called for the IRMA online admission test known as, IRMA Social Awareness Test or IRMASAT, on the subject of “Issues of Social Concern”. By evaluating candidates' performance in CAT, XAT or CMAT along with other selection criteria such as academic qualifications, work experience, and personal interview, IRMA aims to identify individuals who possess the requisite skills, knowledge, and commitment to contribute effectively to rural development initiatives and pursue careers in the field of rural management.
For admissions, IRMA shortlists candidates on two calls:
- Merit-based Calls: The selection committee will decide the category-wise cutoff for candidates who appeared for CAT 2023, XAT 2024 or CMAT 2024.
- Profile-cum-merit based Calls:
Candidates who fulfil the following criteria will be shortlisted for profile-based calls:
- Graduation in Agri Packaging and Processing, Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Cooperation related to Agricultural Cooperatives, Dairy Technology, Fishery, Food Processing, Food Science, Food Technology, Forestry, Horticulture or Veterinary from recognised universities and colleges.
