NEET PG 2023 question paper and answer key is available now. It must be noted that the question paper is based on memory of candidates as NBE doesn't release it. Candidates have to sign non-disclosure agreement not to share the content. However, some coaching centres release the question paper and answer key for NEET PG 2023 after exam.

NEET PG 2023 question paper and answer key is released after the exam. Candidates wait eagerly for question paper and answer key right after the exam. The reason being, they can predict their tentative score in the exam with the help of NEET PG 2023 question paper and answer key. Official NEET PG question paper and answer is not released by NBE. However, coaching centres release it a couple of hours after the exam. NBE NEET PG question paper is considered one of the best resources to scale up the preparation. Candidates are advised to solve at least last 5 years question paper so that they have clarity about weightage, difficulty level etc. Solving previous year question paper and answer key also helps them in better management of time, speed and accuracy. NBE held NEET PG 2023 exam on Sunday, March 5. The result will be declared on or before March 31. As per the students, overall difficulty level was easy to moderate. A good number of questions were from Medicine and Microbiology while Anatomy and Ortho had lesser number of questions.

Q:   How many questions are asked in NEET PG exam?

A:

NEET PG exam comprises of 200 multiple choice questions with each question having 4 response options in English language only. Candidates are required to select the correct/best/most appropriate response/answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. Time allotted is 3 hrs 30 minutes. There is a provision of negative marking in the exam. In the wake of negative marking, candidates are advised to attempt only those questions where they have full confidence of correct answer. Otherwise negative marks may outweigh your overall score. 

Q:   I marked two answers for a question in NEET PG. One of the answers is correct. Will I get full marks for this question?

A:

Candidates can't  mark more than one answer as NEET PG is computer-based exam. Moreover, in the official information brochure, there is no mention of whether candidate will be deducted marks or not for marking two options. NEET PG 2025 exam pattern will be released by National Board of Examinations (NBE). The exam is conducted in computer-based mode. Candidates are provided total 3.5 hours to answer the question paper.

Q:   Why solving NEET PG previous years question papers is crucial?

A:

There are many advantages of solving previous years' question papers of NEET PG exam. Candidates can refer to some of the advantages given below:

NEET PG 2023 Question Paper

It must be noted National Board of Examinations (NBE) will not release NEET PG 2023 question paper. During registration candidates have to sign Non Disclosure Agreement, declaring that they will not be sharing the content of NEET PG 2023 exam. “The contents of this exam are confidential, proprietary and are owned by NBEMS. NBEMS explicitly prohibits the candidate, from reproducing, transmitting or publishing any or some contents of this exam,” the official release says. But candidates must not get disappointed as some coaching centres and experts will release question paper and answer key for NEET PG 2023 exam. These questions are based on memory of exam-taking candidates. Experts analyse these questions and provide answer key accordingly.

NEET PG 2023 Exam Analysis

NEET PG 2023 exam analysis is available now. The exam was easy to moderate in terms of overall difficulty level. High weightage subjects were Microbiology, Medicine, Gynaecology while very few questions were from Ortho and Anatomy. Questions were clinical based. It must be noted that the exam analysis is based on students’ reactions. A set of questions were asked to students including overall difficulty level, maximum question from which topic, expected cut off etc. NEET PG analysis is purely on the basis of memory-based questions from exam-taking students.

Q:   Do candidates need to answer every question in NEET PG 2024?

A:

No, candidates should answer only those questions where they feel confident about the right answer. The reason being there is a provision of negative marking in the NEET PG 2024 exam. Candidates are advised to choose not to answer rather than marking wrong option. Negative score may take a toll on overall score of a candidate. 

Q:   Does NBE release question paper for NEET PG?

A:

No. NBE doesn't release the official question paper for NEET PG exam. Candidates are not allowed to reveal the content of the test paper as they have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) while applying for the exam. Hence, the exact questions asked in the examination can’t be identified. However, some coaching institutes release question paper based on memory of  exam-taking students. "The contents of this exam are confidential, proprietary and are owned by NBEMS. NBEMS explicitly prohibits the candidate, from reproducing, transmitting or publishing any or some contents of this exam, : the official brochure says.

Q:   What type of questions are asked in NEET PG?

A:

Objective questions are asked in NEET PG exam. The type of the question is multiple choice where one question can have multiple answers. keeping this in mind, candidates have to select best option of correct response. According to NEET PG pattern, a total of 200 questions are asked and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them. There is a provision of negative marking in NEET PG exam. For every correct reponse, +4 mark is awarded while for incorrect reponse, -1 will be deducted. 

Q:   Will marks be deducted for unanswered questions in NEET PG?

A:

No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions as per the existing NEET PG pattern. Such questions will not be taken into consideration while calculating marks of a candidate. Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions where they are confident of right answer. If there is iota of doubt of correct answer, candidates are advised to leave that question. Otherwise, negative marking may reduce your total score which will ultimately impact your overall performance.

 

NEET PG 2023 Answer Key helps to calculate tentative scores

Alike official question paper, NBE doesn't release official answer key for the exam. Unofficial NEET PG answer key is released by coaching centre. The answer key helps candidates to calculate the tentative scores in the exam. Candidates can predict total marks through the existing marking scheme.

As per the marking scheme for each right answer, candidates get 4 marks and wrong answer-1 mark will be deducted. To predict tentative marks, count total number of right and wrong answers first. Multiply number of right answers with 4 and number of wrong answers with -1. Then subtract total score of wrong answers from total score of right answers.

The NEET PG result date for the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) Jharkhand is expected to be around January 4 ,2025 for the round 3 counseling results.
