Delhi NEET Counselling 2024: Dates, Eligibility, Registration (Over), Seat Allotment Result (Soon)

Delhi MBBS counselling requires the set eligibility rules to be followed. Candidates should ensure that they fulfil all the required eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• Candidate must have qualified NEET 2024
• The candidate must be a citizen of India. PIO/OCI candidates can also apply for DU MBBS 2024 counselling.
• The candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board/institute. Also, the core subjects in the qualifying examination should be Biology, Chemistry, English and Physics.

 As per the government and MCC norms, the reservation of seats will be based on the category of the candidate. Candidates are eligible for reservation as per their category details filled in the NEET application form and the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc) registration form. The reservation criteria for DU MBBS admission are mentioned below.

The Delhi NEET counselling 2024, also known as DU NEET, counselling process involves various steps. The DU NEET 2024 counselling is being conducted in three rounds, including the mop-up round. Candidates can check the round-wise process of DU NEET counselling 2024 mentioned below:

Step 1: DU NEET Counselling Registration 2024

To participate in the DU NEET counselling 2024, the first step is to register online. Candidates can register themselves by providing their NEET UG 2024 roll number, as mentioned on the NEET admit card. Along with the roll number, candidates have to furnish their personal and academic details. Candidates are advised to furnish their details carefully. All the communication and allotment was done based on the information provided; hence candidates should ensure they fill in the right information. After providing all the required details, candidates had to generate a password following the instructions. After creating the password and providing all the details, click on the ‘Submit’ button to proceed. 

Step - 2: Choice filling and locking for DU MBBS/BDS Counselling

After registering, candidates have to fill in the choice of colleges for their respective courses (MBBS or BDS). Candidates can select multiple colleges. It is advised that candidates should make sure to lock their choices after the selection of colleges. Otherwise, the system will automatically lock the choices provided by candidates before the portal closes. Candidates should note that after the choices are locked they won’t be able to edit or modify them; hence, it is advised to review the choices carefully before locking.      

Step - 3: DU MBBS seat allotment 2024

DU NEET counselling 2024 seat allotment process for each round is being conducted individually. The seat allotment is being done based on the choices filled and seats are allotted based on availability, NEET UG rank, reservation, and other factors. The seat allotment list for the first round of counselling will be released in 2-3 days after the choice-filling process concludes. If any seats are left vacant, then the seat allotment list for the mop-up round is released separately.

Step - 4: DU NEET counselling Result 2024

DU NEET counselling results will be announced after the release of the seat allotment list and will be available in PDF format. Students can check the Delhi NEET counselling result 2024 and those whose name will be in the list will be further eligible for the allotment of colleges.  

Step - 5: Reporting at the allotted colleges

At this stage, candidates need to make the fee payment and submit the original documents verified by the concerned authorities. The counselling conducting body provides the specific timeline within which allotted candidates must report to the assigned institutes. 

Candidates have to register themselves with the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc), the University of Delhi after the seats are allotted under the respective 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) and 85 per cent state quota seats. Below is the step-by-step process for registration with FMSc:

• Candidates have to visit the official website of FMSc - fmsc.du.ac.in
• Aspirants have to furnish their email ID, mobile number, NEET roll number, date of birth, and captcha code
• A system-generated OTP will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number, which will be used as the password
• Candidates then have to go to the login window and log in using their NEET roll number, password, and the code
• Candidates will be redirected to another screen showing the NEET scorecard 2024
• Download the scorecard and move to the FMSc application
• Enter the required details such as name, gender, category, nationality, state, religion, family details, and other
• Enter the address (permanent and correspondence) details and bank details
• In the next section, submit the academic details of Class 10, Class 12, and NEET UG 2024
• The relevant documents such as passport size photographs, signature, self-attested copies of Class 10, Class 12 mark sheet, NEET 2024 result, and admit card
• After the submission of all details, aspirants should cross-check all the details before final submission
• For final registration, click on the check-boxes mentioning the details
• Thereafter, click on the ‘Submit’ button and take a printout of the confirmation page

Below is the list of documents that are required to be carried at the time of DU NEET counselling 2024. No candidate will be granted admission without any of the documents/certificates.

• NEET result 2024
• NEET admit card
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Demand draft of INR 1,000
• Self-attested copies of:
• Aadhaar card
• SC/ST/OBC certificate, if required
• Father’s SC/ST/OBC certificate, if applicable
• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 passing certificate
• Character certificate issued by the principal of the school last attended
• A person with Disability (PwD) certificate, if applicable
• Non-Creamy Layer certificate, if applicable
• OCI Card for Overseas Citizens of India
• The following certificates from the school will be required:
• The school is situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi
• School is recognised by CBSE/COISC/Jamia Millia Islamia
• School is conducting regular classes
• A candidate who has conducted regular classes for Class 11 and Class 12
