Q: The marksheet of 10th standard does not include my parents' name. Will there be any issue in filling NEET application form?
Ideally, there should not be an issue if parents' names are not mentioned in the Class 10 marksheet, if it is the standard format of your Board. However, if there is a misprint or glitch, which caused the absence of your parents' names in the marksheet, then you may approach the Board officials through the Helpline Number or email to get it rectified. Moreover, the marksheet of Class 10 is a document to tally whether the accuracy of the marks or aggregate entered by you in the NEET application form. If there is a mismatch, it may create a hindrance during the document verification process of the counselling rounds. Otherwise, there would not be an issue if parents' names do not appear in the Class 10 marksheet.
Q: My father's name in Aadhar Card and 10th marksheet are a bit different. Is it necessary to get it corrected for NEET UG 2025 application?

Yes, Aadhaar Card verification is mandatory for NEET 2025 application process. Here, candidates' past academic data such as Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates will be linked to the Aadhaar Card. Hence, it is mandatory for candidates to update their APAAR ID and link the data with their Aadhaar Card. While NTA extends the NEET application form submission last date every year, it does not reopen the application window every year. As per the previous years' trends, the NEET application window was reopened for NEET 2024 and NEET 2023, but was not reopened for NEET 2022. The application window was not reopened for NEET 2021 and NEET 2020 as well, but the application correction windows were opened twice in these years.
FAQs Regarding NEET 2025 Application Form
Read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding NEET 2025 Application Form.
Commonly asked questions
Q: Will there be a change in the NEET application fee for 2025?
No, there has not been any change in the NEET 2025 application fee. The fee remained the same across all categories. The application fee has to be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and UPI. Unless a candidate paid the fee as per his/her category, the NEET application process would not be considered complete and he/she will not be able to appear for the exam.
Q: I am facing trouble in filling up the NEET application form. What should I do?
Several candidates face difficulty while filling the NEET application form, especially in the first few days owing to server errors or traffic surge in the website. Last year, since the NEET website address was changed, applicants found it difficult to login or were automatically logged out. On the other hand, some candidates faced trouble while paying the application fee. Even after the payment of the NEET 2024 application fee, they did not receive the application confirmation. NTA advises candidates to check their internet connection while filling up the application form, and in case of difficulty regarding fee payment, they are advised to connect with the payment aggregator through the Helpline Numbers and email ids provided in the NEET information bulletin. In case of duplicate payment, NTA will refund the additional amount.
Q: How to retrieve NEET application number or password in case I forget it?
Once the NEET registration process is completed and the login credentials are generated, candidates are advised to save and preserve those for future usage. In case candidates are unable to login, they should first check whether the NEET application number, password and security pin or captcha entered are correct or not. In case either of the information is wrong, it will not be possible to login. In that case, they have to click on the Forgot Your Password or Forgot Your Application tabs and retrieve it either through Security Question or through Reset Link sent to their registered email address. In case of retreiving the NEET application number, they have to enter their names, email address and the Security Pin and submit. The application number will be sent to their registered email address.
Q: Will the NEET 2025 application form submission last date extend?
Yes, there is a high chance of NTA to extend the last date of NEET 2025 application form submission. As per past years' trends, NTA extends or reopens the NEET application window every year, either as a response to student requests or due to some external factors such as server errors or non-functioanlity of exam website. However, candidates are advised not to wait till the last minute, or wait for the extension of application last date, and complete the process at the earliest possible.
Last year, NTA released the NEET 2024 application form on February 9, 2024. The last date to register and pay the application fee was extended from March 9, 2024, to March 16, 2024, 10.50 PM. NTA reopened the NEET 2024 application window from April 9 to April 10, 2024, based on student and stakeholder requests.
Q: Till when can I pay the NEET 2025 application fee?
NTA is conducting the NEET 2025 application process from February 7 to March 7, 2025. The deadline to pay the NEET 2025 application fee is March 7, 2025, 11.50 PM.
It is important to complete the NEET 2025 application process by paying the requisite application fee. Unless a candidate pays the application fee, the process will not be considered to be complete and he/she will not be eligible to appear for the exam. After paying the application fee, candidates have to save and print the NEET 2025 application confirmation slip till the end of the admission process.
