Oct 7: RRB NTPC Application Form 2024 Status to be released soon

NRA CET for RRB NTPC Exam

Going forward, the RRB NTPC Prelims exam will be conducted by NRA and set up with the approval of the Union Cabinet. A Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be conducted to appoint candidates for Group B and C posts. However, the RRBs will select candidates in stages for further selection.

RRB NTPC Application Form 2024

RRB NTPC 2024 application form status will be released soon. Candidates can check the application status by logging with the required credentials. RRB ALP application status will show whether the application forms of candidates are accepted or rejected. RRB NTPC application form 2024 for graduate posts was released on September 14, 2024. Candidates interested in applying for graduate posts could submit their applications till October 20, 2024. The application form for undergraduate posts was released on September 21, 2024. The standard of topics prescribed in the RRB NTPC syllabus is of Class 10, 12, and Graduation levels. RRB NTPC syllabus is the same for the first stage CBT and second stage CBT. However, the difficulty level varies for both stages. RRB NTPC syllabus is given below.

General Awareness: History, Geography, Economy, Indian Polity and Governance, General Science, Current Affairs, etc.

Mathematics: Number System, Decimals, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Time and Work, Mensuration, Percentage, Elementary Statistics, etc.

General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, Mathematical Operations, Coding and Decoding, Data Sufficiency, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, etc.

  • Coordinates with the Station Master regarding arrival and departure

  • There is no fixed timing for work hence, this post requires high flexibility. Training is provided in your Zonal Training Institute
  • Works with Station Master and communicates information about the arrival and departure of trains, etc.

Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk

  • Candidates must have good typing efficiency
  • Manages junior clerks in the departments
  • Works in various departments(engineering departments-electrical, electronics, mechanical, etc.)
  • Working hours are fixed

Senior Clerk cum Typist

  • Candidates must have good typing efficiency
  • Manages and supervises junior clerks in the departments
  • Works in various departments(engineering departments-electrical, electronics, mechanical, etc.)

Junior Account Assistant cum Typist

  • Provides administrative support to the accountants along with assisting with the clerical task of typing

Senior Time Keeper

  • They Maintain the time records of the movement of the trains hence, they have to be in sync with the train network
  • The workload is high as this post requires a great deal of management of time records
  • The person has to work in different shifts (focus and flexibility)
  • The training period will be 45 days after selection

Commercial Apprentice

  • The person is a mid-level multi-skilled supervisor
  • Has to maintain the balance between the field staff and people at the higher level of the bureaucracy
  • Training period- 2 years of training duty as Commercial Clerks, Goods clerks, Commercial Inspectors, Zonal/Divisional Headquarter Inspector, etc

Station Master

  • As the name suggests, the person is in charge of the station
  • The person is responsible for the smooth arrival/departure of the trains in a punctual manner
  • Has to make sure passengers are provided with all the basic amenities in the railway station
