All India Entrance Examination (AIEEA) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to shortlist aspirants for admission in agriculture and allied sciences (programmes) offered at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctoral level.  ICAR AIEEA is held to offer admission to aspirants in UG as well as PG level courses.

Total Seats for BSc Agriculture Admission through ICAR AIEEA 2023

On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in ICAR AIEEA 2023, they can secure admission in the BSc Agriculture course offered at the colleges listed below. Candidates can also go through the number of seats available in the Agriculture course along with the annual fee for the course offered at these colleges.

Q:   Are Muslims allowed in BHU?

A:

Any caste, region, religion students can apply for admission to various courses at BHU. Any caste student must fulfill the eligibility criteria and take admission. While selection process, students are not judged basis their religion, they are judged based on their merit. Hence, any student meeting the eligibility criteria can get admission in BHU. BHU does not descriminate people on any basis.

Q:   Can I join GADVASU directly?

A:

No. there are certain criteria to join GADVASU, these include :-

  1. B.Tech programme :- 10+2 qualification with 50% of minimum marks with any three main subjects of the may include mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and agriculture. ICAR AIEEA scores are also acceptable for admission.
  2. M.Tech programme :- Admission is purely based on merit
  3. P.HD programme ;- Candidates are selected based on their aggregate score of their Masters degree and then a university level interview is conducted. Candidates should have teaching experience of minimum 5 years

Q:   Can I get into GADVASU with 70% in class 12th?

A:

To get into GADVASU, you need to have at least 50% marks in aggregate in your 10+2 exams. The required subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. For reserved students, the aggregate is 40%. 

The cutoffs for 2023-2024 are: 

General Category: 715–117

OBC/SC/NT Category: 116–93

OBC/SC/NT - PH Category: 104–93

The cutoffs may vary depending on the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the NEET-UG exam.

Candidate admitted provisionally to Forestry Course during counseling would have to pass the following Physical Fitness Test at the time of reporting for admission at the Agricultural University/ College/ Department:

(1) Height            (i) Male (Gen., OBC, SC)=163 cm., ST= 152 cm.

                              (ii) Female (Gen., OBC, SC)=150 cm., ST= 145 cm.

 

(2) Chest girth    (i) Male=79 cm. to 84 cm. (Minimum 5 cm. expansion)

                             (ii) Female =74 cm. to 79 cm (Minimum 5 cm. expansion)

 

(3) Physical Capacity for Fast Walking in four hours

                              (i) Male = 25 Km (ii) Female = 14 Km

On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in ICAR AIEEA 2023, they can secure admission in Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) course offered at the colleges listed below. Candidates can also go through the number of seats on offer in BFSc course along with the annual fee for the course offered at these colleges.

Q:   Which entrance exam scores are accepted by GADVASU for admission?

A:

GADVASU is one of the most prestigious universities in India and offers excellent opportunities for UG and PG students. A candidate can check the GADVASU cutoff for 2023 on the GADVASU official website. Moreover, the 2023-24 cutoffs for General, OBC/SC/ST categories are 715-117 and 116-93 respectively. Also, the NEET cutoffs for general and reserved categories are 720-137 and 136-107 respectively. 

Only NEET (UG) exam scores are accepted by GADVASU for admission. A candidate must secure equal to or more than the NEET cutoff. 

Q:   How many students can do B.Sc at GBPUAT?

A:

As per the admissions, GBPUAT has a limited number of seats for B.Sc. The exact number of seats for BSC in GBPUAT is not mentioned. However, according to the reports, the university accepted 2809 students for the undergraduate program including BSC. For some fields, B.Sc. in Agriculture offers 156 seats, and a Bachelor of Fishery Sciences (B.F.Sc.) offers 28 seats to get enrolled in the program. 

In B.Sc at GBPUAT, there are various specialization options available such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Home Science, and Fisheries Science. These specializations allow students to focus on specific areas of study within the field of science. It's best to check with GBPUAT directly for the most up-to-date information on the available seats for B.Sc.

 

Q:   Can I join BAU - Birsa Agricultural University directly?

A:

No you can not join BAU - Birsa Agricultural University directly.

Admission requirements for joining Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) depend on the specific programme you are interested in. Generally, for undergraduate programs like B.Sc. in Agriculture or similar courses, admission is based on entrance exams and academic qualifications.

Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) primarily focuses on agricultural and allied sciences. While it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in agriculture-related fields, including veterinary sciences, it may not have a specific MBA (Master of Business Administration) program.

For postgraduate programs like M.Sc. or MBA, the university may consider academic performance in the relevant undergraduate degree in addition to entrance exams.

Q:   Can I get admission at BHU without an entrance exam?

A:

BHU admission to most of the courses is entrance-based, hence it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams to get admission to BHU undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, aspirants need to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

Q:   Which entrance exam scores does GBPUAT accept for admission to M.Sc?

A:

GBPUAT offers M.Sc courses which accept the admission through CUET conducted by NTA and Entrance Exam conducted by University.

Although CUET rank and cut offs marks are considerd for admission in M.Sc

The basic requirement for all the courses is a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline. Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of merit secured in the entrance exam conducted by the university.

The syllabus for both exams, NEET and ICAR is the same because both classes 11 and 12 syllabus is included for these entrance exam preparation . There is only one difference and that is the exam pattern. However, with practice one should be able to crack both exams.
