IIT JAM 2025 Exam Centres (List Released): Check Zone-wise Test Centres Cities and Codes

Candidates can go through the list of eight zones across which IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted on the given day in the table below:

IIT Delhi will conduct the IIT JAM 2025 exam across eight zones on February 2, 2025, in two shifts for seven MSc programmes offered by IITSs and other JAM 2025 result-sharing institutes. The first/morning slot of the exam will get over at 12:30 PM and the second/afternoon slot will begin at 2:30 PM and will conclude at 5:30 PM.

The seven test papers for which IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted are mentioned below along with their codes:

• Mathematics (MA)
• Physics (PH)
• Economics (EN)
• Chemistry (CY)
• Geology (GG)
• Biotechnology (BT)

The schedule for IIT JAM 2025 is as mentioned in the table below:

This year, a few test cities have been removed from the list of IIT JAM exam centres. Mentioned below are the cities that fall under each test zone of the IIT JAM exam.

Note: JAM 2025 Committee can add or drop an examination city or town due to operational constraints - a notification will be made on the JAM 2025 website.

The following items will be allowed to be carried inside the IIT JAM 2025 exam centres:

• IIT JAM 2025 admit card
• Valid photo identity card
• Few copies of passport-size photographs
• Transparent water bottle
• 50 ml sanitiser bottle
• Fruits or medicines (only for diabetic candidates)

It is important to note that the list of permissible items may change from year to year. Candidates are advised to check the official IIT JAM website for the latest updates on the permissible items. On the day of the exam, candidates should arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes early. This will give them enough time to check in and go through the security procedures.

The following items or objects will not be allowed to be carried to the IIT JAM 2025 exam centres.

• Stationery items such as test-based material (written/printed), papers, notes, Pencil box, pouches, geometry box, pen, scale/ruler, eraser, etc.
• Electronic devices such as calculators, cameras, electronic pens, scanners, etc.
• Accessories such as bags, belts, caps, goggles, wallets, etc.
• Devices used for communication such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth, fitness bands, earphones, pager, etc.
• Eatables (packed or home-cooked), thermos, etc.

Candidates are also not allowed to carry any food or drinks inside the exam center, with the exception of a transparent water bottle and 50 ml sanitizer bottle.

If a candidate is found carrying any of the non-permissible items, they will be disqualified from the exam.

It is important to note that the list of non-permissible items may change from year to year. Candidates are advised to check the official IIT JAM website for the latest updates on the non-permissible items.
