CUET 2023 English Section Analysis
According to the experts and students, the English section was of easy to moderate level of difficulty. Candidates with basic preparation and application of the elimination method will be able to get a high score in this section. The passage-based Reading Comprehension questions are easy, but one out of three passage questions is tougher than others. The majority of the Reading Comprehension questions are direct in nature.
Other types of questions with high weightage are Synonym-Antonyms, Figures of Speech, and other minor topics including active-passive voice, idioms, sentence correction and fill-in-the-blank, containing two to three questions each.
CUET 2023 exam is being conducted by NTA in 295 cities across India and abroad. As many as 14,99,688 candidates have applied for the exam. CUET is the entrance exam for undergraduate courses admission to 250 central, state, deemed, private and other universities.
