This college has decent placements for 2021.
Placements: Around 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA offered by De Shaw. The top recruiters are Salesforce, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, PayPal, etc. Mainly the IT sector is booming, with most of these coming for software-related roles. Next finance and then core has decent placements.
Infrastructure: Our course has laboratories for appropriate fields, with the proper equipment and working apparatuses. The classrooms in the new academic block i.e NAB are fairly spacious and equipped with an air-conditioner. Meera, the girls' hostel has 9 blocks, most of which are renovated at the moment. Block 9 is yet to be renovated as another block is going under renovation, so it is in a questionable state right now. Mess food is average. Medical is open from the mornings to the evenings, if not there are medical facilities outside the campus.
Faculty: Our course has passionate teachers and they always help students. They also teach well. There are exceptions to this with maybe 1-2 teachers failing to make the course comprehensible. The pass percentage varies for each subject in the course, and the grading at BITS Pilani is relative.

The campus is very good and value for money.
Placements: Almost 98% of the students got placed in 2020 placements. The highest salary package offered is about 40 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 8 LPA. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Dell, Amazon, Reliance, etc., offered placements. Around 150 companies visit our campus every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at BITS Pilani is excellent. BITS Pilani is a very old campus, but the whole campus is renovated in the last three years. The new campus is like brand new, and the NAB infrastructure is very beautiful. We have good library facilities and high-speed internet connectivity for 24x7. Food quality is good and hygienic. There is a medical centre on our campus, and we have 2 big grounds for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members at BITS Pilani are not ordinary. All the faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and all of them have done PhD from top universities around the world. Faculty members are very friendly with students. Quality of teaching can be compared. The course curriculum is well-prepared according to the students' interest. We do have a unique thing called practice school where we get a lot of industrial exposure.

Infrastructure, Faculty, Students are all great. BITS Pilani It's MAGIC!
Placements: 90% of the students were placed as Senior Software developer. 43 lac was the highest, 4 lac was the lowest, and 11 lac was average package. Top recruiting companies were Goldman Sachs, Google, Uber. Around 95% of students got an internship from my course. Internships varied from Bajaj, Mahindra, and other great companies. Placement Statistics were really good last year.
Infrastructure: We have Electric Geysers and Solar Panel powered Hot water facility. Labs are really well maintained and our pride is the great OYSTER LABS! Classrooms are really well maintained and lectures are recorded and are available to us on online platforms. Library is a very well-organized place and you can study really well in a peaceful environment. We have over 200000 books available at our perusal. Quality of food is good in mess and canteen are really great and we have about 4 eateries on campus and they serve great foods at an affordable price. There is a Medical Centre where we have great doctors. GYM Grounds have approximately all sports types of equipment and students play with great enthusiasm.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are really helpful and they support students at all times. Most of the faculty members have a Ph.D. and are really qualified. They also have a good knowledge of pedagogy. Classes are really interactive and students look forward to attending classes first thing in the morning. Every Professor has chamber consultation hours in which students can go and discuss their doubts and concerns about their course.
Other: I'm very passionate about Physics and this course got my attention and I got to about the amazing faculty here. This course should be more inclined towards industrial applications. Fests are mesmerising in this college and they occur in an organised manner such that students don't get bored with the monotony of the course. There are 3 fests in this college OASIS (Cultural fest), BOSM (Sports fest), APOGEE (Technical fest). Campus crowd is very interactive and I have a very intelligent peer group here. Connectivity is a little low as it is located in a remote area. Scholarships are great and students work really hard to get them.

Dissatisfied with the academics and the staff unwillingness to take students' career seriously.
Placements: The placements were not up to the expectations of students, and most of them got settled for whatever least they could get. Around 95% of the students got placed on the campus. The highest salary package offered on-campus was around 46 LPA and average was around 8-10 LPA. I am not sure about the lowest package that was offered to the placed students. The companies from almost all the sectors including consulting, banking, finance in addition to the engineering and IT profiles visited the campus for placements. Around 20-25% of the students went for an internship in their pre-final year. It must be noted that many students didn't even apply for an internship. The highest stipend offered was 80K per month, and the average stipend was around 15K per month. There is a placement cell in the college called the placement unit, PU, which helps students in on-campus placements and internships. It is good considering MIST students get placed and those who don't, most of them either rejected the offer or went for higher studies.
Infrastructure: There are around 10 computer, 5-10 physics, chemistry, biology, mechanical, chemical, electrical, and civil engineering labs in the college. The hostels have full internet connectivity either by Wi-Fi or by LAN. There are courts and grounds for almost all types of sports. There is a gymnasium. There is an in-house medical treatment facility. Fortnightly dentists visits are there on the campus. All the labs have high-end equipment. The classrooms are old and calling them horrible won't be a travesty. The food in a mess is mostly horrific. The hostel rooms are small. There weren't any major infrastructure issues during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective field, but only a few were good enough as its conveyor. The teaching quality was pretty good. The teachings methods were the traditional ones that have been used for many years like normal lectures, tests, etc. We do get around eight months of industry exposure by our practice school programme in which two months after 4th-semester and six months after 6th or 7th-semester. The course curriculum is lacking.
Other: The campus crowd is great, and most of them are terrific. The campus surrounding is not that great. The campus hosts three fests in a year, and they are sports fest (BOSM), a cultural fest (OASIS), and a tech fest (Apogee).

BITS - Pilani, It's magic.
Placements: The placements for my batch were very good and not just for electronics and computer science students but also for other branches. Roles ranged from design engineers to software developers. BITS also provides plenty of opportunities for internship based placements. In fact, a majority of students get a pre-placement offer from many reputed multinationals like Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Qualcomm etc. in addition to the campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best that one can imagine. High-speed internet and WI-Fi are available in all the hostel rooms and throughout the academic block. Synthetic, world class courts for tennis and basketball are available. Wooden courts for Badminton, TT and carrom room, separate gym for boys and girls. On campus, there is a medical center and a medical shop. Supermarket, bakery, juice shops, bank, ATM, and a book are collectively housed in a shopping complex. In addition to the labs for coursework related projects, the college also has a sandbox that allows for tinkering and working on a host of technical projects. One canteen inside the main academic building and 2 dining halls for students, in addition to a restaurant and several food kiosks and ice cream parlours on campus. Mess serves hygienic food (breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner) and is monitored and supervised by mess council members. The academic block has 3 lecture theaters capable of holding 250 students and 2 more capable of holding 500 students. In addition, there are more than 40 smaller classrooms which can accommodate 50-100 students. All classrooms are air-conditioned and have projector facilities. The lecture complex has a very good sound system to enable all students sitting in the room to hear the lectures clearly. All students get a single room in the hostel since the first year. Hostel rooms are clean and hygienic. Washrooms are cleaned and maintained.
Faculty: The faculty members are some of the best in the country. I have received fantastic guidance from them throughout my stay in BITS, in both academic and non-academic domains. Every student is provided with 2 opportunities for industry exposure. At the end of the 2nd year, during the summer, students are sent for a 2-month internship at an industry ( BITS has tie-ups with over 300 industries for this purpose in places like Atomic Power Stations, Thermal Power plants, and refineries). In addition, the final year project (lasting 6 months) can also be done at reputed industries like NVidia, BMW, Texas Instruments, Benz, Amazon, Cisco, Flipkart, Samsung (over 400 such companies), etc. In addition to industry exposure, students also get PPOs from these places.
Other: In terms of both education and extracurriculars, BITS Pilani is on the top of the chart. Needless to say, the students graduate after 4 years as confident and capable individuals with a broad outlook and good education. Even though BITS was established in Pilani, it has two new centers at Goa and Hyderabad. Together, BITSians as we like to call ourselves, have one of the strongest alumni networks that is globally active. BITSians all over the world help celebrate BITSians day in August every year in more than 200 places around the globe to form a strong network. From a 75-year-old BITSian to a 25-year-old BITSian, BITS graduates talk about and share their memories of BITS.
