CUET 2025 counselling will be conducted separately by the participating institutes. CUET counselling 2025 will commence after the announcement of the CUET UG result 2025, the participating institutes releases the admission application form, CUET cut off or CUET merit lists of registered candidates qualifying for the exam and meeting the eligibility and cutoff criteria of that institute or university. Along with releasing a scorecard, NTA will share candidates’ scores to universities they had opted for while filling out the CUET application form 2025. The counselling or admission process is conducted by the CUET accepting colleges individually, and candidates who apply for the institutes and courses will have to participate in the admission process.

Q:   When will the CUET UG counselling process commence?

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:

  • Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
  • Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.

The precise count of available seats in CUET UG counselling remains uncertain, though it is estimated to be approximately 10,000 seats. Seat availability fluctuates depending on the course and university that candidate has applied for. For instance, Delhi University provides around 71,000 CUET UG seats. CUET UG 2024 saw participation from 44 central universities and 69 state and deemed universities, offering over 300,000 undergraduate programme seats. These universities provide a range of courses, including biotechnology, chemistry, commerce, arts and English. The number of CUET UG counseling rounds differs among universities, with an average of three rounds per university.

Q:   What to do after the declaration of CUET result?

A:

The final CUET answer key published by the NTA serves as the basis for the CUET result. Following this, it is anticipated that all of the participating universities will publish their separate cut-off lists (admission/merit lists) and dates for student acceptance to various UG programs.

Candidates must now complete the application in order to be admitted to the college they choose during the application process. Depending on the number of open seats, the college will release a separate cutoff and merit list in one or more rounds following the submission of the registration form on the college website.

Hi, No, you cannot get into colleges that you have not listed in your counseling application. 1. The CUET counseling process is done after the exam to allot colleges to qualified students in participatory universities. 2. Once the CUET exam results are announced by the NTA the respective Central Universities will declare their counseling schedule. 3. You will be required to participate in the counseling process at your preferred university. The university will assign you to a college based on your score and preferences. 4. CUET 2025 Spot Counselling

Based on the number of vacant seats, the participating institutes will announce a CUET Spot Counselling. Those who would not be allotted a seat in the original counselling rounds can participate in the spot counselling by registering on the official websites of the CUET participating institutes. Such candidates will have to participate in the CUET spot counselling rounds by visiting the institutes and getting the documents verified by the institutes' admission officials.
