Every year, the CUET PG Syllabus is released subject-wise and uploaded in the PDF format on the CUET PG official website. Test takers, with the help of the subject code of the course applied, can check and download the CUET PG syllabus 2025 from the official website.

CUET PG 2025 aspirants can also prepare from the CUET PG 2024 syllabus or previous years syllabus, as the frequency of change in the CUET PG syllabus is negligible. 

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) MBA syllabus and the Common Admission Test (CAT) syllabus are both designed to assess candidates' aptitude for management studies, but there are some key differences:

Scope:

CUET PG MBA: This exam covers a wider range of topics, including general knowledge, current affairs, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, and data interpretation. It aims to evaluate a candidate's overall academic preparedness and understanding of current events.

Difficulty level:

CUET MBA: The difficulty level of the CUET MBA exam is generally considered to be moderate. It is designed to be accessible to a wider range of candidates.
CAT: The CAT exam is known for its high difficulty level. It is designed to challenge the most talented and motivated candidates.
Exam pattern:

CUET MBA: The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with negative marking for incorrect answers.
CAT: The exam consists of MCQs with negative marking for incorrect answers, as well as non-MCQs that require candidates to type in their answers.

There will be a total of 75 questions which will asked by the exam officials from 4 domains which are mainly Language Comprehension, Reasoning, Mathematics and Data Interpretation.

Based on the previous years question paper analysis, following CUET PG MBA topic wise weightage has been drawn:

• Language Comprehension- 25 Questions
• Mathematics/ Numerical Ability- 20 Questions
• Reasoning Ability- 20 Questions
• Data Interpretation- 10 questions

The CUET PG 2025 exam pattern has been amended for the academic session 2025-2026. The exam duration has been reduced to 90 minutes from 105 minutes for all question papers. 

CUET PG exam pattern depicts the exam format in which candidates will get to know about the types of questions asked in the CUET PG 2025 examination. Also candidates will get to know about the CUET PG negative marking scheme, time duration provided by the exam officials to attend the CUET PG exam.

CUET PG 2025 exam pattern consist of the following parts:

• Type of Questions- Multiple Choice Questions.

The CUET PG MBA syllabus tests candidates' ability in the following areas:

The official website link for CUET PG 2025 has been activated for making registrations. The CUET PG 2025 notification and application process were released on January 2, 2025. 

CUET PG 2025 official website will contain all the necessary information that the candidates are seeking during the CUET PG admission process 2025, like the syllabus, participating universities, FAQs, question papers, important dates, and many more. 

NTA, National Testing Agency has released a public notice mentioning the recommendations received by the expert committee for the CUET PG 2025 examination. The exam officials have proposed the change in the exam duration, pattern, and many more.

The General Paper will be redesigned by the exam experts to cater to skill-based and certain professions based on UG knowledge acquired by the candidates so that the CUET PG 2025 participating universities can use it for programmes in those areas.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be introduced for admission into UG/ PG programmes in Central and participating Universities for academic session 2025-26. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will
provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from NorthEast and from rural and other remote areas and help to establish better connect with the Universities. 

The CUET PG 2025 examination will be conducted by the examination authority i.e., NTA (National Testing Agency) in the various CUET PG examination centres across the nation and also to short listed foreign countries. The Syllabus for the master's courses for which the examination will be conducted is set by the exam conducting authority, which is National Testing Agency here. The subject experts after taking all the probable suggestions from all the participating universities, will set the syllabus for the master's degree programmes on the basis of what students have studied in their under graduate courses.

CUET PG 2025 examination is expected to be scheduled in the month of April, 2025. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG exam will be able to fill the online application form in the month January 2025. While filling up the CUET PG online application form, test taker can select only one subject in one slot of the examination day. However, from the previous year academic year, they were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.

CUET PG MBA general test the following important topics: 

• General Knowledge which covers the current affairs, some topics from general science, history, geography, environment, political science.

NTA, National Testing Agency is the examination conducting body of CUET PG examination. The exam syllabus, structure of the examination is set by the NTA for the ongoing academic session. 

On the basis of previous year's trends it is highly expected that NTA will set the CUET PG 2024 structure in such a way that the examination will have 2 sections to be attempted by the candidates. The section I of the examintion will be General Aptitude specific and Section II will be subject domain specific which depends upon the subject choose by the candidates while filling up the CUET PG 2024 examination. There is no complusion in attempting any question asked in the examination. However, it is being advised not to attempt the questions for which candiates are not sure about their answer. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer marked by the candidates.

For example- MSc Mathematics course is highly popular among the BSc undergraduates, therefore the number of applicants for the same will be high, also the cut off of MSc Maths will be high of reputed/High NIRF ranking institutes.

NTA which is known as National Testing Agency is the examination conducting body of CUET PG examination. The Role of NTA is confined to registration of candidates, conduct of the test, hosting of answer key, inviting challenges, finalising Answer Keys, preparing and declaring result and hosting Score Card. Merit list will be prepared by participating Universities/ organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling on the basis of the score card of CUET (PG)-2023 provided by NTA.
