Review of BHU - Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: The course curriculum helps students to prepare for HR and IR related activities at all levels of the organisation. There are no campus placements. However, the course content is designed in such a way that maximum alumni are working at all major PSUs and top private organisations. They offered an average salary package of 7 LPA and above. Our alumnus is working as HR heads, and they are very helpful as they visit during alumni meet and meet the current batches. They take sessions on current HR trends. Students are offered summer internships in which alumni play a pivotal role. The course content is par with standard HR procedures.
Infrastructure: It was best the central university in terms of infrastructure. Hostels are well maintained and clean. They offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food with good quality grains. Labs in our college are well-maintained, and the library here is one of the biggest libraries in India.
Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced, and their teaching quality is very good. In the psychology department, the course is taught by experienced faculty, and also faculty from different departments come to teach as per the requirements. The course curriculum is designed as per the current HR trends.
Other: I chose this course as it provides integrated knowledge about the HR and IR related activities at the organisation.

I had a good and satisfying experience.
Placements: Placements were not good, but the course structure is good and increases the knowledge of students to get a job on their own. Professors and other staff are equally supportive of students in all aspects. Seniors and alumni are very helpful in every aspect.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. All the classrooms and halls are spacious and well-furnished. The library and computer labs are well-furnished. The central library on the campus is the base of the university, and it is easily accessible to everyone.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. All the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. In the second year, students are sent for an internship to learn the rules and working of the industry. Different types of projects and assignments are prepared by students.

Best for IR studies in very less money.
Placements: People here try their best for placement and as a result, we have a huge alumni network with most of them working with every major PSUs in India and abroad like- PGCIL, IOCL, CIL, WBSEDCL, L&T etc. And because of our alumni base, every student every year gets internship w/ or w/o stipend.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is one of the best in the university. The campus provides the internet via LAN and going to be Wi-Fi in a couple of months. It's one of the largest campuses internationally. Students are provided with every medical, sports, educational and financial facility.
Faculty: Our course curriculum is one of most recommended in the field of IR. It's same as the likes of XLRI and TISS. That is the only reason why the students here qualify NET and JRF easily. Our faculty is experienced but there's always room for improvement.

One of the finest MPMIR (HR) institutions in the country with decent infrastructure and placements.
Placements: One of the best HR institutes in India, but the placements of our batch were not that great. Companies came to pick the students in the placements, but they were not as big as the companies which came in our senior batch. The highest package offered to our batch student was 10 lakhs per annum, the average was 8 lakhs and the lowest package which was offered to the student was 6.50 lakhs. The companies that visited our campus were Idea, Bosch, Reliance Industries, Star, Coal India etc. Mostly, the HR Executive roles in most of the companies were offered to the students. The college provides you with the training letter, but the students have to get the internship and enhance their skills. The average stipend offered was Rs 8000.
Infrastructure: No doubt, BHU is one of the biggest campuses in India as a university. The campuses of all the courses including MPMIR is enrolled with the Wi-Fi facilities. The classroom is very highly modified, to the use of the students. In the classroom, a big 70 inches LCD is placed with speakers and a projector for all the assignments and presentations. There is a separate library for all the campuses inside the BHU, but there also is a central library for all the BHU students, where a student can study all throughout. The sports and games are conducted at various events and are encouraged by the faculty members. There are multiple grounds for all the individual games in BHU. The medical facilities are the best as the students are provided with a health card, and there is a separate hospital of BHU where the students are given free checkups, tests and are given the first preference by the doctors. The students have to pay only 70% of the money for the medicines. The quality of food in the canteen and the quality of the hostel rooms for boys and girls are fantastic, clean and hygienic. I did not face any infrastructure issues during my course.
Faculty: The experience with the faculty team at BHU was very pleasing. They were very helpful and supportive through the courses. Every faculty member is experienced and graduated from one of the finest institutions and far more knowledgeable. The teaching methods used by the faculty members are very much useful and mostly practical situations are taught, so the student can face the workload and understand the things better. We got the industry exposure in the forms of internships. The course curriculum here at BHU was very useful.
