IIT JAM 2024 Results were declared by IIT Madras on March 20, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the Joint Admissions Test for Masters’ will be able to check their results soon on the official website. Candidates could check the cutoff by login into their JOAPS 2024 account. This year's cut off is expected to be higher than previous year's cut off. This is because the difficulty level of the questions was lower compared to IIT JAM. According to experts, the IIT JAM 2024 cutoff marks range from 29 to 32.
The authorities will be preparing the JAM cut off 2024 after checking various factors related to the entrance examination. IIT JAM 2024 cutoff will vary according to the subject and category that the candidate belongs to. Later, the authorities will also release the IIT JAM admission cutoff. Candidates who meet the cutoff will have higher chances of admission. Last year, the exam conducting authority IISc Bangalore announced that the eligibility criterion was relaxed and candidates passing the exam were considered eligible for the IIT JAM counselling process.

In the previous year, a total of 73,360 students registered for the exam and 62,654 candidates gave the entrance exam. Out of this number, only 14,623 candidates secured marks above IIT JAM 2023 paper-specific cut-offs.
