The Real Deal: My Honest College Review.
Placements: Placements are not very good in this college; hardly 80% of students get placed through campus placements. Till now, 34 lakhs is the highest package that has been offered. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Paytm, Shadowfax, and even Amazon visit the college. Very few students get paid internships through the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also okay, not very advanced and not very outdated. The labs are internet-connected, but not all the systems work in the computer lab. Classrooms are not connected with any technology; only whiteboard teaching is there. The library is a good place where you can find various books, and it is quite big and good. I've heard that hostels are not good, and the food is also not good. The canteen is average and cheap. There is no medical room, so no such facilities are available. In sports, basketball, badminton, and football are available.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and hardworking. The course curriculum is also average; two sessional exams are conducted and one pre-university test before the end semester. The college is affiliated with AKTU University, which is really bad at copy-checking of the end-semester exams.
Other: I chose this course due to a lot of job opportunities in the future. This course provides many learnings, if we talk about knowledge or life experiences and people. Various events are conducted, and an annual fest also happens in April, which is quite good. The college is 1.6 kilometers from Vaishali Metro station, so the connectivity is good. The campus is not very good as it is very small. Various extracurricular activities are held annually.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET)
3.4

Decent placements at NIET, basic facilities, average teaching, and room for improvement.
Placements: At NIET Greater Noida, placements are excellent, especially for Computer Science students. The highest salary offered was INR 51 LPA, and the average was INR 6 LPA. Big companies like Oracle, Salesforce, Intel, Capgemini, and IBM hire students. Almost all Computer Science students got jobs, showing how well-connected the college is with industries. While details about internships and specific job roles aren't clear, the placement results are impressive. These numbers are from the 2023-2024 batch, and updates for the 2026 batch are still awaited. Do not come with higher expectations, as it is a tier 3 college only.
Infrastructure: The facilities for the course and department at NIET Greater Noida are just okay, with basic classrooms and labs. The hostel is not very clean, and the rooms are small. The food in the mess and canteen isn't great and doesn't have much variety. Sports facilities are limited, and the grounds aren't well-maintained. Overall, the facilities are manageable but not very good, and there's a lot of room for improvement to make things better for students.
Faculty: The faculty at NIET Greater Noida is okay, with some teachers being helpful and good at teaching, while others are not very engaging. The quality of teaching is mixed. Some classes are useful, but others feel basic. The course curriculum covers important topics, but it doesn't fully prepare students for jobs without extra effort. Semester exams are not too hard if students study regularly. Most students pass because the college supports them during exams. Since it's an autonomous college, it has some control over the courses and exams, but there's still a lot that could be better.
Other: I chose this course to build a good career and because it offers job opportunities. The best part is that it gives basic knowledge and helps in placements. I wish the course had more practical learning to prepare us better for jobs. Events and fests happen but are just okay, not very exciting. The crowd is mixed, and the campus is easy to reach but could have better transport options. Overall, it's a simple experience with room for improvement.

Dissatisfied with the placements, faculty, and the infrastructure.
Placements: The college does not offer good placements. The average placement package offered is less than 2 Lacs per annum and the companies are not reliable for long term jobs. The placements department is also not very active, therefore, this college’s placements are not reliable for a good career.
Infrastructure: Hostel and college’s infrastructure is neither too bad nor too good. It's only average with most of the windows being broken, fans are slow in the classrooms and the classrooms don’t have AC availability. Wi-Fi is also very bad in both the hostel and the college.
Faculty: Faculty is not very good, they are only average. The exams are commenced on a daily basis here, they take exams every week. They don’t give time to build relations and preparations, they just take exams all the time. At times they conduct 25 surprise tests, 25 unit tests, 10 mid semester exams, 5 put and then the semester exams (subject wise).

Reality of Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad?
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed in either tech or non-tech-related companies. The college has tie-ups with a few companies that visit every year for placements. The highest package is 33 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Mass recruiters are the main companies that visit the college. Internships are totally off-campus based. Generally, roles are related to tech.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was okay if we compare it with other private colleges of Delhi NCR. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and there are two libraries in the college, out of which one is the central and main library. Labs are decent with Wi-Fi connectivity. Hostels are decent, with proper infrastructure and all facilities except laundry facility. The food quality of the mess and canteen is the same.
Faculty: Faculty is one of the things which was very good in college, as teachers were really qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is according to AKTU, Lucknow. Although there are a few unnecessary things in the course, it was still good enough. Semester exams were medium level; you can pass with decent studies.
Other: I chose B.Tech CSE because of its future scope. There are many events of societies, and fests of AKTU.

Good faculty & industry focus.
Placements: Around 25% of students were placed, with the highest package at 3 LPA, the lowest at 2 LPA, and the average at 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Company Technook and Inspire Leap. 35% secured internships at companies in sales and marketing. Roles offered include Developer, Analyst, and Engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good, and the infrastructure is also very good. Wi-Fi is available for students. Classrooms are very smart, and projectors are available. The library has lots of books, and every book is available for issue to the students. Hostel facility is good, and canteen snacks and meals are tasty and delicious.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, qualified, and supportive, ensuring a good learning experience. The curriculum is relevant and industry-focused, helping students gain practical skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but with preparation, passing is achievable. Pass rates are decent.
Other: I chose this course for its industry relevance and career prospects. The best parts are the practical learning, experienced faculty, and hands-on projects. Improvements could include updated labs and better internship opportunities. The campus has great events, an active crowd, good connectivity, and decent extracurricular activities.

Really good faculty and well-mannered students.
Placements: The recruiting companies that have visited our college in the past few years are quite famous like Accenture, Pacific, IBM, Future First, Axxela, Nigaro, etc. The average package we get here is around 6 Lacs per annum, and it's a great amount for a fresher.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay, and the food in the canteen is good. The college provides us with great facilities like free Wi-Fi network, good canteen food, fests, and DJ nights. The premises are well-maintained, and the classrooms and the students are well-mannered.
Faculty: The faculty here is very nice, friendly, and helpful. They always answer our doubts and keep us engaged while teaching. The semester exams are not that difficult if you study hard while listening to the faculty, and the pass percent is around 80 percent.

Each exam has its own scoring system and percentile calculations.

To determine the required percentile for AKTU MBA admissions in 2023, you should closely monitor the university's official announcements and check for updates on their website. When the admission process begins, the university will release specific details regarding the entrance exam, eligibility criteria, and category-wise cutoffs. You can also contact the university's admission department for any further inquiries regarding the MBA admission process for the OBC female category in 2023.
