Assam University offers over 86 UG, PG, diploma, doctoral, and certificate programmes in various fields, such as Engineering, Arts, Science, and Commerce, and for admission in many of the courses and specialisation there are specific entrance exams such as CUET-UG for admission in UG courses, CUET-PG for admission in PG course, JEE-Main for admission in BTech course.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET 2025 exam date anytime soon at nta.ac.in. It is expected that CUET UG 2025 exam will be held in May/June. CUET 2025 registrations will commence at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Yes, Assam University offers a BSc + MSc integrated course for the duration of five years and divided into ten semesters. Additionally, the affiliated institutions and colleges offer BSc courses in several specialisations, such as zoology, Mathematics, Chemistry, etc. In addition, to be eligible for admission in the seventh semester of the BSc+MSc (Integrated) programme, a student has to pass all the papers up to the sixth semester of the course.

Assam University accepts admission through various national-level, state-level & university-level entrance exams. CUET-UG is also one of those entrance exams that Assam University enrol candidates. 

Students need to prepare well for the CUET-UG exam because only those candidates can register further for the admission process whose rank or scorecard will be within the range specified by the university, i.e. merit list, which will be released on Assam University's official website.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced.
