Our college is not too good.
Placements: The highest salary package offered in our course was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. A top recruiting company of our course is Infineon. About 20% of the students from our course got an internship in companies like Bosch. A top role offered in our course is graduate engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good. Wi-Fi facility is available, and the labs are well-maintained. The library is also good. Medical facilities are not too good. Facilities like canteen, sports and games are very good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. They all are M.Tech and PhD holders. The quality of teachers is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is very interesting. I wish the college should improve the extra subject in our course. The campus crowd is not too good, but the campus surroundings are good. Scholarships are not too good. Extracurricular activities conducted at our college are very good.

I am satisfied with the good placement, infrastructure, facilities and surroundings.
Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed in B.Tech. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top companies like Byju's, Autodesk and Mahindra visited our campus for recruitment. There are around 90% of students who got internships in top companies. Role offered is as an engineer.
Infrastructure: In this university, there were around 200 computers in 5 labs. There was a central library on campus and even ground for playing which helps the student to showcase their talent and also in winning the various prizes which will help the university to grow not only in academic but also in sports.
Faculty: There are around 100 faculty members in this university, who help students every minute. They also share their views to overcome the queries of the students. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry ready to express the new ideas which can help the company grow.
Other: I chose this course because I like to assemble the car and having more focus on new design of a car. The best thing about our course is giving more ideas to design the car. There should be more labs which help the student for having more learning opportunities. Fest and events are organised every year. Surroundings of the university are very good as it is located in Shimla. This university provides scholarships to students, which will relieve the burden of the parents.

This college doesn't meet students expectations.
Placements: This university is not that good for the engineering course, but it is great for management courses. The highest salary package offered for the mechanical engineering branch students is around 2 LPA. At least 8 CGPA is required to get better placements. They don't provide industrial training for students in the last year of engineering.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available here are average. Labs are not that good though the classrooms are good. Hostel rooms are good, and medical facilities and sports and games facilities are also good. Our college conducts football, cricket and other tournaments. Overall, the infrastructure is good, and various activities related to study and fun are conducted here.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, but only some of them are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is not good, and students are lack in industrial-related knowledge. Students attend extra classes in somewhere else to learn about industries. Some teachers are very great and helpful. But students need overall knowledge.

Bahra University- Makes you learn well. But don't give enough opprtunity to use that knowledge.
Placements: Placements in this university are almost null. They only know how to lure students and make them dream big. In spite of being the topper of my batch with a CGPA of 10 on a scale of 10, what I got in the name of placements was nothing. By chance, if some C class IT companies visit there, that too for the whole Rayat Bahra Group, only minimal students get placed. For eg. toppers of respective branches get the package of 1.5- 2 lakh p.a. So, investing a huge amount of money in this university is just a waste and a gamble with your career. There is nothing like internships offered from this university Everything has to be done by an individual approach of the student. The college does not pay any responsibility whether you are doing a training or just fooling around. Students just play a role in arranging parties and functions, apart from that, they are no more than customers for the university.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities, it is a nice place to spend your time. Classrooms are pretty good, but they are built for once and no further improvement in infrastructure. The university provides Wi-Fi facility and thanks to students, now they have sports and events too. Our time was bad enough. Warden is the one who handles medical facilities too, no proper knowledge but they have an ambulance to take you to the hospital in worse cases. Labs are there and you can learn if you are keen to. This is one of few good points of this university. Hostels are the best part of this university with attached washrooms and spacious rooms.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is good and talented. At least, better than other private colleges. They have freshers as well as experienced staff members from IIT, NIT etc. They use PPT modes and example-based approaches. Visits to the industry and labs are also arranged. The faculty is co-operative enough to guide you during the course and also suggest for better future opportunities.

Other: Bahra University is located at really nice location. It is near the highway which offers great connectivity via local buses, plus the college also offers bus services for day scholars. This university offers various course such as B.tech, M.tech, Hotel management, B.Pharma and Law. The faculty members good and facilities available in the premises are decent as well. Bahra University has many collaboration with many MNCs like Microsoft and CISCO. There is a variety of lab for different specializations. But there is a room for improvement in cafeteria services as the food is lacking variety and standards. The only downside is that there are plenty of steps in the building when your college is situated in the hills. The college fest is okay. The level of studies is good with an array of subjects that might help you in higher studies such as MBA and M.tech. Hostel rooms are spacious. Gym facilities are also available with different timing for girls and boys. Hostel premises also have a daily needs shops to help students with their day to day requirements. This college has great ambience and a wonderful crowd. The college organizes a variety of field trips to various industries so the student can get hands on experience on the latest technology. The college organizes placement drives for student as well and also offers dual degree program for students interested in M.tech.
