Welcome to the International Institute of Business Study.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Zomato, Flipkart, Amazon, IMBS, and many software companies. Top recruiting course is marketing and most internships are provided in this specialization. Roles offered are managers and executive managers, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is too good with academic buildings, sports facilities, cafeteria and dining area, amphitheater, and computer lab. Students are provided with laptops with many conditions, transportation facilities, etc. But I am not staying in hostel, so I don't know about hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are very approachable and helpful. They are knowledgeable, experienced, have great credentials, patience, and friendly behavior. They always clear doubts and pay attention to every student. They encourage students to actively participate in class and other activities.
Other: We have had many fests organized and trips. The best so far was the adventure learning program. We went to Ramnagar and stayed there overnight in tents and participated in various adventure sports. The best thing about this course is that they clock the campus so students cannot leave campus. Attendance should be above 75% or else we cannot attend exams.

It is overall good, but could be better.
Placements: Not yet passed; will give information when passed out; recommended college overall. No package has been given yet. I do not know the top companies for the course. The top package said to be given is 9 lacs. For an internship, you will have to search for yourself. Overall, it is a decent college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and is being developed. The quality of food in the hostel is not very good; sports and games could be difficult as the ground is very small, and the campus is also very small. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: Semester exams are done for this trimester; hopefully they will get good marks, which could be improved. The schedule is hectic but you will get better after college for sure. You will be given good placement after it.
Other: Nice.

A standard college to pursue PGDM.
Placements: lacement reports are really good of this college as college has got NAAC A and NBA aggreditation so it is really good. Mainly marketing placement report is very good and all the other specialisation placements are also very good. They even train the weak students to make them perform well in the interviews and give placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. Every kind of amenities are there. We are given 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats as flats so it is more than just a hostel and anyone will enjoy staying there. Course have NAAC A and NBA accreditation and that's why the value of PGDM course is very high in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and friendly. Any time students ask them for anykind of help they are there. Even if someone is in trouble late night they are reachable at that time also. Total of 3 exams are taken for PGDM and Exams are conducted by AICTE so ultimately the value of the exams is so high.

It is very good college for experiential learning.
Placements: About 75-80% of students get placed in every academic year. The placement coordinator helps in solving doubts and all. All manager roles are offered. Recruiting companies are Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, FMCG, PWC, EY, Genpact, Tata Capital, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Banking and financial institutions visit the college.
Infrastructure: We have the finest infrastructure. Facilities and certification courses are good. There is a good environment because our college is on the city outskirts. There is no outside disturbance. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and medical facilities are provided. The canteen is affordable.
Faculty: Semester exams are moderately difficult level. So far we haven't had semester exams. The curriculum is up to date. It involves present market trends. The teaching quality is up to the mark that reaches the expectations of International Institute of Business Studies. The faculty is good.

Average satisfaction because of faculty, placement, internships and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is not good in the B.Sc. rehabilitation science, psychology, and sociology department; according to my knowledge, there is 0 placement, but other departments like B.Com. and BCA have average placement. Students from abroad join our college too; it's really a good opportunity to explore and learn a lot.
Infrastructure: Honesty, I wish I could give 0 stars. There are CCTV's everywhere, and the library has course books and novels that are very useful. Other than that, nothing is good about this college. I've been to the lab only in the 1st year; after that, they don't take us to the lab, and practical exposure is very poor. There is NO HOSTEL, and the canteen is affordable, and timings have to be followed. The quality of the food is above average. One very good quality of this college is they help students who need help with the midday meal program (school block as well as college block).
Faculty: It depends on the individual lecturers; some are really good and some just take class for the sake of taking class; no proper internship for psychology; for rehabilitation science, an industrial visit; and 2 internships are provided. Semester exams are quite easy; the pass percentage in our department is around 95-97%. If you are a person who totally depends on faculty, then this college isn't for you. Self-study plays an important role in any college.
Other: This course is one of the best courses that has scope abroad as well as in India. This course teaches various aspects of human mind and body; this is a very necessary course for future India. Campus life was amazing; we have many festivals and intercollegiate competitions and sports meets, awareness programs, inclusive education, and lots of volunteer work that is truly enjoyed by students and facilities. The other departments have the best teachers, placements, and internships. As our department is a growing field right now, placement and internship opportunities are a bit less.

Commonly asked questions
On Fees and Eligibility

Q:   Can I get B.Sc at Bengaluru Central University with 75 percentile in Maharashtra HSC?

A:

While your 75th percentile score in Maharashtra HSC is impressive, it's not enough to definitively determine your admission chances for B.Sc. at Bengaluru Central University (BCU) due to various factors influencing the selection process:

Eligibility factors:

  • Specific B.Sc. Program: Each B.Sc. program at BCU might have different eligibility criteria regarding minimum Class 12th scores, specific subject combinations, and entrance exams. Refer to the Shiksha page you linked or the BCU website for the specific program you're interested in.
  • Entrance Exams: Certain B.Sc. programs might require scores from national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, NEET, or KMAT. Check the program details thoroughly.
  • Reservation Categories: Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) might have lower minimum score requirements compared to the general category.

Selection Process:

  • Merit list: BCU typically prepares a merit list based on a combination of Class 12th scores, entrance exam scores (if applicable), and additional factors like personal interviews or group discussions (for some programs).
  • Program-specific requirements: Some programs might have additional requirements beyond the general eligibility criteria.

Q:   Is Bengaluru Central University more expensive than Banaras Hindu University?

A:

Comparing the costs of Bengaluru Central University (BCU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) depends on several factors, making a definitive "more expensive" label difficult.

Fee Structure:

  • BCU: Fees vary significantly based on the specific UG programme and specialization. You can expect a range of INR 1.1 Lacs to 3.5 Lacs per year for programs like BCA,  while B.Tech programs typically have a fixed fee of INR 65,000 per year.
  • BHU: Fees are generally lower than BCU,  ranging from INR 1,000 to INR 20,000 per semester depending on the UG program. However,  specific programs like MBBS or Engineering might have higher fees.

Living Expenses:

  • BCU: Located in Bengaluru,  a metropolitan city,  living expenses like accommodation and food can be higher than in Varanasi,  where BHU is located. Budget around INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 per month for basic living expenses in Bengaluru.
  • BHU: Varanasi offers a more affordable lifestyle with living expenses typically ranging from INR 5,000 to INR 8,000 per month.

Scholarships:

  • BCU: Offers various scholarships based on merit,  financial need,  and specific categories like SC/ST/OBC. These can significantly reduce tuition fees.
  • BHU: Similar to BCU,  BHU provides scholarships based on merit,  financial need,  and reserved categories. They can help make studying more affordable.
