A really good place to develop your personality as a whole.
Placements: My course is M.Sc. Chemistry and the course major students go into non-tech and consulting roles and a few go into research and Ph.D. in Chemistry. Placement packages range from 10 to 50 LPA and the average package is 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Jio, Deloitte, PWC, JP Morgan and KPMG. In SI, around 250 students from a batch of 1100 got internships. In my course, the top roles (if you proceed to go for core) offered are that of Chemical researcher, Synthesis and Lab specials.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well furnished having fully functional AC, efficient lighting and seating places. Labs in the first year are somewhat renovated but the research labs are very advanced and innovative. Wi-Fi works good, just some productive services like Netflix and WhatsApp video calls are banned. The Library is very spacious and has separate places and tables for studying and books. It also has a relaxing space to sit and has facilities like coffee, tea and snacks from vending machines which can be consumed in the sitting area only, otherwise fine is imposed.
Faculty: The professors here are very qualified and have a diverse teaching methodology. They teach the whole syllabus in a systematic manner and follow the course handouts given initially. Sometimes the classes can be a bit difficult to understand due to increased level of difficulty and then people start getting bored and skipping classes. The semester exams are on the tougher side always and you have to think deeply or memorize in order to solve them. It's not a piece of cake anymore.
Other: I chose Chemistry as I have an interest in the subject since JEE time and wanted to learn and explore it in this college. The best things here include faculty members having expertise and great research experience in their respective fields and we get to learn a lot through them. The things which could be improved are the quiz and assessment timings and adding practices to maintain attendance in the classes. This college is the best place if you want to have a huge exposure to an intellectual peer group, all possible extra curriculars ranging from singing to drama to dance to managing events are provided here. All of them are adequately active and contribute and collaborate together for the functioning of fests. The connectivity is very good in the campus, all the places are within a 10 minutes walk and surroundings have a plethora of greenery and trees.

Review of BITS Pilani - Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: Almost every student gets placed in BITS, even the guys studying core subjects such as chemical or civil are able to get into core or consultancy firms with a median package of 14 LPA (approximately). The average package in phoenix (electronics branches, namely EEE, ENI and ECE that started this year on Pilani campus) is 25 LPA (approximately) and in CS is 30 LPA (approximately). BITS doesn't usually tract the students based on the packages like IITs, as they are obviously the byproduct of the peer group and overall development that BITS provide you for your lifetime. Though fees may be a concern, but ROI is good, and you have to make sure to study hard in your first year if you opt for a dual degree.
Infrastructure: The hostels are clean, and the mess food is hygienic and better than most of the mess food offered in any college in India. The complaints are dealt with serious concern, and they try to solve them as soon as possible, you will get unlimited high-speed internet every time. The labs are great and newly equipped with updated instruments. You will enjoy looters and all-night canteen (we call it ANC), food ministry (FM), Amul cafe at night till 2-3 am, and all the Redis (the food stalls near every hostel during the daylight). We have MedC (where the basic illness is treated) and Birla Hospital near the campus.
Faculty: The faculty are sometimes good and sometimes not. But it depends on the students also to grasp the concept they teach. Their qualifications are great, and the faculty-student relationship is great in BITS (of course from the second year onwards). But the exams may trouble you as they are quite hard most of the time (at least till now), but relative grading does justice to that.
Other: M.Sc. gives you an opportunity to get your branch in BE by studying for one more year in the good peer group of BITS. But the division of subjects currently on the Pilani campus is very hectic for the dualities, which is not on the Goa campus, I wish that would change. The campus crowd is great, and you'll see people who are doing much more than you, and at the same time, even helpful to pick you up. We have 3 major fests, namely Oasis (cultural fest), Apogee (Tech fest) and BOSM (sports fest). Apart from them, there are many events such as inter-BITS sports meet. We have guests and alumni holding sessions and guiding us all the time.

If you love to Learn its the best. RS is always there to guide you even at 3am in the morning.
Placements: Official placement Statistics are not shared as far as I know. The average placement of particular courses varies from 16 LPA to 36 LPA. There is a compulsory Practice School 1 and 2 where students are sent to different stations to work as an intern and gain experience. Further, you get options to choose between These or Industrial Internships.
Infrastructure: There are LAN connections and Wi-Fi (except SR) in every hostel. The BITS library is one of the largest and the oldest libraries with huge stock of resources. Every or a group of 2 hostels have individual mess. Further there are small side stalls for every hostel called Ready where you can get snacks and other refreshments. The All night canteen and looters all work till around 2am to 5am ensuring that students get anything whenever needed.
Faculty: The curriculum is having all kind of interdisciplinary courses, giving a chance to student to pursue Science, Engineering, Management and Finance all 4 degrees together in just 4 - 5 years. There are continuous evaluations, ensuring that no single exam held responsible for gradings.

Our college is great, but the fee charged is a bit higher.
Placements: The placement record of our college is great as it is one of the few premier colleges in India. Students get placed with a decent and above average package than most private colleges. Mostly all top companies visit our college for placements. PS program of our college provides an internship to every student.
Infrastructure: Most hostels allotted to students are either new or fully renovated. Few old hostels are getting renovated every year. All facilities are available in our college, either it is sports or library. Our college has a vast campus and everything that you might need in college life.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are great. Due to its zero attendance policy, every student who wants to attend the classes or do something else can freely do it. Professors are helpful. They give the best knowledge and advice. Students are also free to choose from the professor they want to learn and make their own timetable according to their needs.

Satisfied with good placements and learning culture.
Placements: The placement status of BITS Pilani is very good as students are part of the placement committee which helps you to get proper guidance and make your resume likeable. Most of the students get placed in the IT sector. However, the other half of the students get placed in the non-core sector.
Infrastructure: Rooms are not air-conditioned which is a big issue during summer but going to classes leads you to sit in AC rooms. Overall the campus is pretty much beautiful. The library is 24 hours open and students can spend their full time for preparation.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are pretty good. Their research work is famous throughout the world. They try to interact more with students for better growth. Students get industry exposure through two internship programs known as practice school-1 and 2. Labs and workshops are well integrated with the latest technology.
Other: There are a lot of events and opportunities around you if you are in BITS. Three fests are the major attraction for Delhi and Jaipur colleges which are completely organised by students.

No, it is not mandatory to do the integrated program but you have to apply for the M.Sc. You just apply for it and don't go for the integrated courses.
