Teachers and facilities are good here.
Placements: We don't have any placements for the students of M.Sc. physics department. Most of the students try for PhD and other research positions. As far as the internships are concerned, around 8-9 students out of 30 students got internships during the first year summer vacation. The stipend offered was about Rs. 5,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our department has different labs. Some of them have good facilities, and the others were not well facilitated. The labs of our M.Sc department are poor, but our research labs are good with different facilities. They teach different characterisation techniques like XRD, SEM, FTIR, UV visible spectrum, dielectric characterization etc. The college provides average medical facilities, and we also have a good library. The food offered in the canteen is just above average.
Faculty: Our department has about 15 teachers and 6 emeritus professors. All of them are well qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is up to the mark. The college doesn't provide any industry exposure. Teachers are highly helpful with our projects and other curricular activities.
