It is one of the best colleges for MCA.
Placements: About 75%-80% of placements are offered every year across the country and abroad. Students get the opportunity to work in good job positions. They can also secure placements in IT companies and banks. Department-wise placement training has been provided since last year, which is very helpful for students in securing jobs.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure of the college is poor and requires improvement. Classrooms are spacious, but cleanliness needs attention as there is dust present. College is situated in a hilly area with pleasant weather, but it lacks proper connectivity to city life. Wi-Fi and LAN internet facilities are provided for students.
Faculty: All faculty members are well-qualified. Classes are conducted with the help of presentations and project is completed every semester. Syllabus is well-updated and highly advanced. Especially, teaching faculty members are supportive in enhancing students knowledge at both theoretical and application levels. Pass rate is 80%.

Outstanding College: Excellent faculty and campus.
Placements: Our university placement is very nice. Approximately 92% of placements are predominantly offered annually around the country and abroad. The maximum salary is 22 LPA, the minimum salary is 9 LPA, and the average salary is 13.5 LPA. Students have the opportunity to work in a positive work environment. Placements can be offered in IT companies, Amazon, Google, HCL, etc., as well as banks. Since last year, higher education apprenticeships have been booming, significantly improving employment opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: The facilities are excellent. Well-maintained classrooms and labs. Always free Wi-Fi is available on our campus. The hostel rooms are clean and well-maintained. The food here is also good and satisfying compared to other colleges. The campus offers complete security, as well as hostels. Hostels are based on classification. Sports and medical facilities are available at our university.
Faculty: In my personal opinion, teachers are actually good; they have enough knowledge, except for some of them. The curriculum is also set according to current industry needs, but elsewhere it is stuck a bit in the past. In engineering, there are 2 internal exams, 1 practical exam, and one ED exam for the semester. Core subject tests are a bit more difficult. But, the passing rate is 79%.

    Think placement, think CUSAT.
Placements: College placement is attractive, but the package is less; the average package is 3.5 to 5 LPA. Mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, and HCL also come for campus drives. The top company is Google, but it was off-campus; one student got an internship at Google via off-campus drive. The college does not give any internships, but during the privileged year, cognizant offers internships to many students with a 10,000Rs stipend, and all get the opportunity to work on projects.
Infrastructure: The college campus is located on a hilly area in the monsoon, and during the during the winter session, the atmosphere was amazing. There are a lot of animals in the college area. There is no proper range for internet and calling services. Public transport facilitates very bad timing; buses are not available. Canteen food is very overrated. Colleges have women and men hostels. Facilities are also good, including base facilities, cleaning, toilets, and good food.
Faculty: Teachers are teaching just for the exam; they just told us this is an important topic that will come up in the exam but not teach us the full concept. Teaching quality is average; teachers sometimes discourage us from doing sports and art. The college curriculum is semester-based. Every year, we have 2 semesters, and the exams are final and internal. The course is for 100 marks, of which 70 are for term-end exams and 30 are for internal exams. Internal exams included class tests, midterms, and some marks given based on behaviour.

Like heaven amidst the hills of Cochin.
Placements: All final year students can attend campus interviews. The college provides good placement opportunities for MCA and CS students. Big companies like IBM, TCS, Cisco, and many others visit the campus. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the average is 4.2 LPA. 80% of students get placed, mostly in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune cities. Keltron hires interns with zero stipend.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is of poor quality and needs improvement. Classrooms are spacious, but cleanliness needs improvement as there is dust in the classrooms. The college is located in a hilly area with good weather but lacks exposure to city life. Wi-Fi and LAN internet cables are provided for students. Regarding the hostel, the college doesn't have its own building; instead, they rent houses from outside and allocate them to students.
Faculty: Teachers are easily approachable, and there is a friendly relationship between faculty and students. The course curriculum is quite burdensome with extensive syllabus, and the time between exams is very short. However, the IT sector is growing in India, creating many job opportunities, so the course is in high demand. Exams follow the 80-20 pattern set by the University.
Other: Toilets are not clean, and the town is many kilometers away from the college, creating a lot of inconvenience.

I feel great studying at CUSAT.
Placements: Around 75%-80% placements are most probably provided every year around the country and also abroad. Students get an opportunity to work in good job positions. Placements can be provided in IT companies and also in banks. From the last year, department-based placement training is provided, which is very helpful for students to get a job.
Infrastructure: CUSAT is a huge peaceful campus. It also has a huge library with a Wi-Fi facility, which is very helpful for students for reference. Our college hostels are clean, and the food served is also good. The room rent is very less consider to other hostels. If you don't want to eat food, you don't need to pay a mess fee. You should pay only room rent.
Faculty: There are highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers here. They are very friendly. Especially teaching faculty members are very comfortable for students to improve their knowledge in theory and application level. Enough number of teaching faculty members allow students to take any elective subject as per their wish. This flexibility is beneficial for placements, etc.
Other: Tech fest and department fest are conducted every year.
