Hindu College has many things to offer at a nominal course fee.
Placements: I am an alumnus of Hindu College, University of Delhi. The placements are very inconsistent and mostly take place through college placement cell or the Central Placement Cell. Many leading companies visit for Campus Placements like Google, Samsung, HSBC, YES Bank etc. The highest package from my batch was grabbed by a Student of Statistics Hons. He was placed at Hannover RE with a package of 12 lacs. The average placement package revolves around 4 to 6 lacs PA. Most students don't opt for placements here, so placement competition is not very great. In recent years, many startups have started visiting the college for campus placements. They offer good packages and a great learning curve. But most importantly, the college name helps you pass interviews off campus too. The highest package from my course was 7 lacs PA, and the guy was placed at Honeywell.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very great. Most of the classrooms are not air conditioned. The toilets are not maintained very well although I don't have the idea of the current situation. There is sports ground and gym. The Hostel and mess facilities are all right. The canteen of the college is definitely a catch. It offers cheap and delicious food (the canteen is shown in the movie Rockstar). There is also a fast food shop in the campus which is slightly expensive. The college has a high-speed Wi-Fi. The library is well maintained and has ample amount of books (I didn't have to buy a single book during my 3-year course).
Faculty: The senior faculty of the college is very experienced and knowledgeable. If you are interested in studies, you'll learn a lot from them. However, the Ad-Hoc faculty isn't very good and their classes might be a waste of time. Since I was a science student, we had practical experiments in the laboratories which have almost all learning equipment. There is a lot of room for learning in this college if one is interested.
Other: One great thing about Hindu College is that you don't get ragged by seniors unless you are a hostel student (Hostel Ragging is also minimal). Seniors are usually very helpful and the college has a lot of ground for extracurricular activities like dramatics, music, fashion and writing. The Dramatics Society of Hindu College is called IBTIDA and it is quite famous. It was started by the film director Imtiaz Ali who is an alumnus of the college.

Both the colleges are good but ARSD has better faculty than DDUC. So I would suggest you to go with ARSD.
