Good placements, infrastructure and many other facilities, but the faculty is not up to the mark.

Placements: Still, the placements are going on. Many big companies are visiting, like TATA, Honeywell, Bajaj, Hero, Hyundai and Mahindra. They are offering good packages around 6-7 lakhs per annum. Till now more than 50% of my seniors are placed. But as compared to non-tech companies, tech companies are not paying much.

Overall, okay experience but some changes would be helpful

Placements: Placements were average. While most people who applied got jobs somewhere, there were such people as well who were not able to find jobs but overall, it was okay. Roles given to placers were analytics, operations, supply chain, software and electronics and digitals. For electronics, tech companies like Texas, Wipro, Qualcomm, Samsung and non-technical like BCG, Bain and Mckinsey, Deloitte, etc. I don't have any good idea on highest and lowest placement and the internship packages but the average...

Lived a plus-minus kind of life and made many friends. The 1st year was amazing

Placements: The placement session started from the first month of the final year itself. The initial and middle part of the placement session was depressing as I was focussed on GATE preparations and more so, the highly competitive environment on the campus but in the end, I successfully got placed in a company with a field that I wanted.

Good placements and a bundle of opportunities in DTU

Placements: There were 90% placements and companies like Amazon, Zomato, Bain consulting, Deloitte, Samsung, Directi and much more. The highest offered was more than 25 lakhs/annum and the lowest was 5 lakhs/annum. Roles offered were software developer, associate consultant, etc. Internships were excellent too and many people got PPOs.

DTU- Good placements with decent faculty and infrastructure

Placements: Placements here at DTU are quite good with nearly 80-100% getting placed in good companies. Most of the students get placed in mass recruiters with companies like TCS and Infosys. Big companies that come to campus are Airtel and Amazon. The average package was 5.5 LPA and the highest was offered in computer science at 60 LPA.

Despite resources, the only thing it lacks is the will to shine as India's best institution.

Placements: The placements were pretty decent. 75% of the entire batch was placed by the end of the placement season. The average package was about Rs. 7-8 lakhs per annum. Many core companies visited the campus. Big companies like Texas Instruments and Qualcomm recruited in good numbers. The maximum salary was about Rs. 17 lakhs per annum and the minimum was about Rs. 4 lakhs per annum. Many students received a PPO from the companies that recruited them as interns in the 3rd academic year. ...

A decent college with sincere faculty, good infrastructure and decent placements.

Placements: The placements of my batch are going pretty decently. With an average expected package of Rs. 7 LPA, our batch is up to the mark so far. 30+ companies have visited so far and the expected number of companies is 100+. Senior batch has also been successful in placements. Companies like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Airtel, Exl Logic, RBS, Samsung, Myntra, Amazon, Microsoft, and many more leading firms have recruited so far.

College with good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in DCE (as we normally call it) are good and nearly 75-80% of the students get placed in decent companies. Placements are a mix of core and mass recruiters with highlighted companies like Bajaj Auto, IOCL, Coca Cola, Reliance, Tata Motors, etc. The average package was around 5.5 LPA with the highest being 20 LPA offered by one start-up company.

One of the finest Non-IIT engineering institutions with great learning opportunities and placements.

Placements: Placements in DTU are amazing. I will put up a short note on placements for different profiles. Mechanical engineer - Elite companies in this sector like Siemens, Bajaj, Hero Motocorp, Maruti Suzuki and many other reputed companies which offer important roles to our alumni once they recruit them. Almost all the students get placed with an exception of students who either didn't apply or have any backlogs. Many new to the industry companies like Greenway and TechNip also recruit from here. Decent placements, but need to improve on infrastructure and quality of faculty

Placements: The quality of placements at DTU varies a lot across branches. EEE offered decent placement opportunities across core electrical companies, core electronics companies as well as non-technical companies. The average salary figure ranged around 5-7 LPA. On an average, around 80-90% of the batch got successfully placed every year. There are not too many opportunities for getting internships on campus as very few companies offer roles to EEE students.

A review of DTU ( Delhi Technological University).

Placements: Many companies visit the campus. The placements have been consistently good throughout the years. In my years, companies of every profile, ranging from branch specific to open for all, come. We got companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Microsoft, etc on campus every year. The highest package usually crosses 1 Crore (international, Google). The median is about 7 LPA. The lowest packages are given by the mass recruiters ( 3.2 LPA).

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 60-70% students placed Highest package - 12,00,000 Lowest- 4,00,000 5-10% internship placement (mostly non-tech). Technical placements are not much in my course. Very low exposure. However, now companies have started visiting for campus placements and internship. They select very few candidates. In terms of internships, this record is really bad. But only in my department.

Good college in terms of education, campus life, placements and overall development of an individual

Placements: Not enough opportunities for mechanical graduates. Many students get jobs through the GATE exam, and some other go for MBA. Core jobs paying more than 6 LPA were not more than 30. In terms of CTC, large companies come only during the first 3-4 months. For the 2015 batch, the highest CTC offered was 9 LPA by Nestle and lowest was 3 LPA by Muller Martini.

Placements: Overall placements were good. But there were very few technical companies for my branch. Around 90% students were placed. Most of the students of my branch were placed in the analytic field. Maruti, Hyundai and Apollo Tyres were the only technical companies. The average package offered to students was 5-6 lacs with highest being in a non-technical field being 9-10 lacs.

Placements: The placement for our batch was good. Our batch got 100% placed with an average package of 5 lakhs per annum and the students got placed in the field of designing and managing construction work at the site. Placements: I was in the 2013-15 batch. Almost 80% students got placed. Placements are good for Marketing and IT students but not for HR and Finance. Few companies that visited the campus were E&Y, KPMG, TCS, Indiamart, Exponential Interactive etc. Profiles offered: business analyst, assistant manager, marketing, marketing manager, management trainees, sales and HR. Not very satisfied, could have made a better choice since it was the last and defining degree.

Placements: The placements for MBA were average, nothing to boast about. Only half of the batch was placed and 85% of those were in the marketing stream. The other specialisations, especially HR and SCM, suffered immensely. The companies had to be called through cold calling and repeated follow-ups.

Placements: The placements at DTU are great. We witness almost all tech giants visiting our campus like Samsung, Amazon, Texas, Qualcomm etc. Even in the non-technical domains, we have a lot of companies visiting like Bain, BCG etc. The highest and lowest packages should never be a parameter to judge a company.
