Good faculty members, average placements for production branch, good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 32.86% of students were placed in 2024 from the production branch. The highest salary package offered for 2024 was 31 LPA. The lowest salary pacakge offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12.32 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Adobe, Amazon, Google, etc. Around 5% of students got internships in 1st year till now. We can definitely go for mechanical jobs in Maruti and other automotive companies.

It is a good college at a good rank group for home-state students with good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are good as compared to other colleges of the same rank or same league. We are low as compared to NSUT, but the overall placements are good. We can get help for placements and all. Overall, placements rate is good, and average placements are good too.

The okayish college for design

Placements: For our batch, the placements are not good at all. It is very different from what is being advertised on public platforms and should not be taken for reference. But the situation might get better as my juniors are getting much better opportunities on campus than we got for our batch.

The best college: Delhi Technological University.

Placements: Like, if we see mechanical engineering, almost 70% of students were placed, and the average package in mechanical engineering was around 11 LPA, with the highest around 26 LPA. But in tech branches, the average package offered was almost 20 LPA, with the highest at 86 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course were Maruti Suzuki, Hero, and Maharatna companies such as ONGC, BHEL, SAIL, and many more government bodies.

Partially satisfied but doesn't have that level of facilities that IIT has.

Placements: In my batch, there are 75 students. I don't know much about packages as I haven't been informed about placements this year. I will be seeking placement, so I don't have accurate answers at the moment. Currently, no one knows if the internship opportunities are good. The cutoff is requested to be above 9, which may cause many students to continue without an internship.
