M.Tech. in Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics

Candidates who had qualified the GATE exams is eligible for the M.Tech at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Further, candidates must also qualify for the eligibility criteria, i.e., Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate (General / EWS & OBC) and 55% (SC/ST & PwD) from a recognised institution. Qualified candidates must complete the IIST admission procedure and finalised their seats.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology offers BTech, Mtech, MSc, and PhD. Candidates must qualify for the course-wise entrance exam to join IIST.

• For BTech, candidates must first qualify the JEE Main, and JEE Advanced and complete the entire admission process of the institution.
• For M.Tech and MSc, candidates must qualify for the GATE exam, complete the institution’s admission process, and appear for the written test and interview.
• For PhD, candidate must qualify for the UGC NET/ UGC8 NET/ JEST  (or) GATE

To be eligible for the IIST programme, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria as per the institute’s admission guidelines. Also candidates must qualify the selection criteria.

 IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology offers BTech at undergraduate level for four years. The programme is offered under two specialisations: Aerospace Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering (Avionics). The curriculum covers foundation-level courses such as Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, etc.

Candidates who have a valid score in the JEE Advanced and JEE Main exams are eligible for both the BTech and BTech+Mtech degree at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Further, candidates are required to qualify for the eligibility criteria, i.e twelve years of school education with 75% aggregate from a recognised institution (The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD candidates should be at least 65%). Qualified candidates must complete the IIST admission procedure and finalised their seats.

IIST-Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology offers MSc at postgraduate level for a duration of two years. MSc programme is offered under Master of Science in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Admission to the MSc course is merit basis. Canidates performance in the written test and Inteview are considered for selection. A valid GATE score is must for MSc admission.
