Placements: Around 90% of my batchmates got placed in campus interview. Even after leaving the college, it was surprising that the placement team contacted the students who were not placed and offered them a chance to sit for interviews with other companies along with the exiting batch of students. Hence, definitely by now all my batchmates would have been placed and would be actively working onboard vessels.
Placements: Around 80% of my batchmates were placed in the college interview. Rest of them got placed after the course at the placements in HIMT College itself. Most of my colleagues got placed in top companies. Companies like Goodwood, Maersk, Fleet, Oceansparkle, etc. Come for interview.
Placements: Almost all the students were placed, the salary was 250$ for all students for Their first ship and 50$ increment for every next Ship they join. Executive ship management and British Petroleum were the recruiting companies. We had our roles to serve as a deck cadet on board ship. The above-mentioned companies provided an internship for us.
Placements: My College is a merchant navy institute. Here students get training to work on ships. Merchant navy basically a course to join trading by shipping industry. My college provides 100% placement. There are many courses but main is :- 1. DNS 2. B.Tech ( marine engineering. ). You will get sponsorship before admission if you join DNS. The highest rank salary ( Captain :- 10 Lacs per month ). As a cadet you will get 30,000 - 50,000 per month. Here world's top shipping companies come for placement such...
Placements: It was not a good college before, but nowadays our director and faculty members are working hard to make it as the finest college in future. I never judge any college for placements because it all depends on students. If they are capable enough, then they can easily get placed anywhere.
Placements: The primary requirement of admission to college is to be sponsored by a company. This means every cadet get placed by various merchant companies in the world. The average salary offered is Rs. 24,967 per month for the 18 months as cadetship. Companies like MSC. Fleet, Dynacom, etc., visit our college for placements. One can do the course for both deck and engine duties.
Placements: Placement is good everybody got placed in good company like those who having arrear, so they only not got placed so many of the company like top company in world visiting campus for placement like Maersk line, DOCK & dale ship management in college there are many courses is there B- tech marine engineering, BSX Nautical Science ( 3 years course) then GME (1years course) ETO ( 4 months course ) GPrating course (6 month) BBA (logistics course is also offered ).
Placements: Our college provides 100% placements for students. The highest salary offered is 1000$, and the minimum salary offered is 400$. Companies like Maersk and MOL visit our campus for placements. All are recruited as a deck cadet. All students got placement. Fleet is also sponsoring, and a maximum number of cadets are sponsored by Fleet. We have to do navigational watchkeeping and cargo watch.
Placements: Executive Ship Management Pvt Ltd provides sponsorship to all the students of this college to complete their on-board ship training. The salary packages offered vary according to the course of the students. British Petroleum Pvt Ltd and some other companies also recruit cadets from our college.
Placements: Many companies use to visit our college when there was a boom in shipping industry but during my time the market was down so there were less number of companies providing job to TME which effect our college placement ratio which was moderate with respect to market needs I myself got placed from outside the college but still efforts were made by the placement coordinator in order to bring companies to our college.
Placements: The average placement percentage in our college is 90%-95%. Companies like Maersk Line, M.Sc. PIL, Fleet, Synergy, Dockendale, etc., visit the campus regularly for placements. Recently our college has been tied-up with M.Sc. company. So there is no issue regarding placements and don't believe rumours.
Placements: Placements were pretty good. If you score well without any arrears, placement chances for you are high. Many companies visit the campus to offer placements, but it depends on how we perform in the interview. The placement team is helpful, and the staff help the shortlisted students to crack the final interview.
Placements: The college provides 100% of placement in worldwide companies, mostly in Singapore and India, and students can try for off-campus interviews. The college is the best for marine engineering. There are many opportunities, promising jobs, and chances for qualified candidates. Thanks to the government of India for many improvements.
Placements: Placement record in the college is 100%. Cadets will get sponsorship from companies like Fleet Management, MSC, Maersk, Ships, Dockendale, Mitsui OSK Lines, Dynacom tankers, Pacific International Lines, Zodiac, ASP Ship Management, Darya Ship Management, Synergy Group, etc.
Placements: In this course we can only take admission if we are sponsored I. e before getting admission we have to give company exams for job. Placements in B.Tech are good many reputated shipping companies come for sponsoring B.Tech students like pil, M.Sc. aps, maersk and etc.
Placements: Yes there is a placement. Many of our seniors were placed last year. There is a placement cell also. For my batch the placement is going on and some of us are placed also. The minimum wages we get is $500 but it depends on company. Two to three companies visit the campus.
Placements: Previously, the placement record is not good, but from 2017, the placements are remarkable. Around 80% of the student were placed, also the performance of students of IMU, Chennai campus is remarkable that the top 30 and also the university toppers are from IMU, Chennai campus. This institute is growing bigger day by day.
Placements: Placements in Samundra are completed on the day you join, this is currently the only marine Institute in India promising 100% inhouse Placements. If you are selected from the interview then your placement is already complete, that is the best part and performance is the University exams does depend, it is based on this marks the order of placement is decided Ofcourse the guy who gets ranked 1st will get placed 1st.
Placements: There is no guarantee for placements but some good companies come for campus placement and if you are good enough to pass the interview their is no looking back. Once you are placed you have ocean of opportunity as MERI is one of best institute for Marine Engineering in our country.
Placements: Everyone will get in-house placement in executive ship and management ship. But, there will be a short waiting period according to the ranking. You just have to clear the IMU, medical and other tests. You will also have a chance to get a placement in British petroleum.
