Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA.
Placements: There are many internship opportunities for skilled students. You can get an internship based on your skills. The placement opportunity is good for the technical college. Most of the students get placed. The lowest package was about 3-4 LPA, and the highest was about 15 LPA off-campus.
Infrastructure: The campus has all the facilities. They even organize the company fair on the campus, which is quite helpful for interaction. The college has both girls' and boys' hostels within the college premises, but the condition of the hostel is quite bad; you can get a better place for the same price.
Faculty: The staff-to-student ratio is very bad, so they just teach in the class; there is no interaction between students and faculty. Exams are mostly based on the books and teacher notes, so they are easy to score. You have to score 40 out of 100 to pass in the subject. The curriculum also has some important subjects.

Bad college for MBA don't take admission.
Placements: The MBA placement record at this college is not very impressive; however, students can still secure placements through on-campus recruitment. The salary packages offered are not very high, with most roles being unrelated to the course. Companies typically offer around 4-5 LPA for MBA placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this area is underdeveloped, and the quality of teaching and classrooms is very poor. Students are required to sit in classrooms for long periods of 4-5 hours continuously. The hostel is the worst part of the campus, with four people cramped into a single room and very limited study space available.
Faculty: The curriculum is outdated, and most of the subjects taught are not relevant to the current industry. To secure a good placement, one must study independently. Although exams are easy to score, teachers do not allocate marks that would impact your future placement opportunities.

Review of J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA.
Placements: The college placement is just average. About 40% of the students get placed. The highest package offered was about 8 LPA, and the lowest package is about 3.5 LPA. You can easily get placed if you learn some skills outside the curriculum. The recruiting companies were Byju's, GET, Pioneer, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus size is quite small, but they have all the basic facilities. The digital board, library, Wi-Fi, auditorium, etc. The campus has a single ground and an indoor stadium. You can even enroll in the clubs, but most of the clubs are technical, and they have a technical round.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very qualified and have good teaching experience. Most of the staff is very humble, and you can reach them for any help. The college has added an industrial program in the curriculum partnering with training and field experts.

I am satisfied with placements and infrastructure of this college.
Placements: In the MBA course, the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top companies that recruited us were Amazon, Flipkart, and some other companies. Top roles offered to us were assistant manager, executive, and more profiles. Good internships were provided for MBA and B.Tech course students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, libraries, and labs were well-equipped with the required resources in our college. Sports and games were held at the national level. Food facilities were good. The canteen was hygienic and clean. Sports and games facilities were very good.
Faculty: Our faculty members were helpful, knowledgeable, qualified, and experienced. This course curriculum was relevant. They made students ready for the industry. Semester exams were easy for intelligent students and I got an 8.7 CGPA.
Other: Extracurricular activities were conducted in our college. Scholarships were also provided. It is one of the best colleges in Haryana, Faridabad.

Q:   Is YMCA University good for M.Sc.?

    A:
    {Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

    * Infrastructure: The university has a good infrastructure, with well-equipped laboratories, comfortable classrooms, and a decent library.
    * Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. They guide students not just in academics but also for career growth and entrances like GATE or CSIR NET.
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant, and the syllabus is designed well. However, some students felt that it could be more challenging.
    * Examinations: Semester exams are considered moderate to difficult, but with good preparation, students can achieve good grades.
    * Placement: While most students praised the placement record for B.Tech and MBA students, the situation was different for M.Sc. students. About 30% of students got placed, but mostly in low-paying jobs.
    * Research Opportunities: Unfortunately, internships were not available in the M.Sc. program.
    * Career Growth: Although the placement scenario wasn't ideal, students believed that the quality education and research opportunities prepared them well for further studies or careers.

In summary, while YMCA University has its strengths, particularly in terms of infrastructure and faculty, the M.Sc. programme seems to have limitations in terms of placement and research opportunities. It's essential for aspiring students to weigh these factors carefully when considering the university for their higher education.

Please note that these observations are based on a compilation of students' and alumni's reviews and might not represent the entire experience.
