Absolutely very bad college because of no placement by college in 2024.
Placements: The student who gets above 85% can get admission to this college. There is no highest, lowest, or average package because nobody gets placement from this college, and nobody gets an internship from the college. Internships are given by others at their own risk.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is dirty and old, but some of the buildings that are newly made are very good. They are now constructing new buildings, so they are working on improving the infrastructure. The food from the canteen is good but is priced high. The medical facilities provided by the college are good. The network in this college is very poor, and getting free Wi-Fi from the college is a lengthy process.
Faculty: Thera are many knowledgeable teacher and have good teaching skills but some of them don't have any teaching skills. The college doesn't make student ready for industry because they don't focuses on that. The difficult of exam is normal. But exam performed without cheating.
Other: I choose course because coding place important role in future life and this college is chose because I thought I get placement from this college but everything against my expectations. It is a well discipline college and many extracurricular activities performed by the college.

Top most University of Haryana .
Placements: College placement is really good. Most of the students got placed the previous year. The package of placement is really good like 3.6 LPA to 10 LPA and above. Most software companies hire students for internships and after internships, they give them jobs. Placement is never disappointing depending upon your skill and knowledge.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good. All the buildings of the college are red outside which gives different look. New buildings are built that is academic etc. Hostel facility is really good. Mess food is okay. Wi-Fi is available for all students with average speed which is sufficient.
Faculty: The faculty of the university is really awesome. Teachers are so helpful and problem-solving. Teachers help students with notes and exams. Most of the questions are comes from the previous year's question paper and some assignments and notes. Teachers give relaxation to students for assignments. Teachers help to improve our CGPA.

The infrastructure, canteen, Wi-Fi services and air conditioning are not good and upto the mark.
Placements: About 15 to 20 percent of students are placed almost every year in my course. The highest package offered in our course was around 6 LPA and the lowest was around 1.5 LPA and average was around 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies of my course are TCS and Wipro. Top roles offered in my course are web developer, data analyst, software developer, technical analyst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not that good and impressive as compared to several other colleges offering the same course and at same fee as my college. Washrooms are very awful and they smell so bad and you don't even wanna use them and the Wi-Fi hardly works but the medical facilities are good and upto the mark. The food at the canteen is expensive. Good in terms of sport. There is no air conditioning in classes of my course.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are qualified. They are very intelligent and knowledgeable. I'd say my college has one of the best teachers. The course is very curriculum relevant and it is assured that it makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are very easy in our college I can tell because I'm already 4 semester in my course.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in learning computer related things that's why I got into computer Science. The future is computer Science and there is a lot of work available for people in this field. For me personally there is no need to improve anything in my course because everything is perfect according to me. There are lots of events, fest and extracurricular activities always happening in our college the college is very good in these terms. Campus crowd is good the campus is surrounded with intelligent and ambitious students.

You'll have a good time here.
Placements: In courses like BCA, you cannot expect much in terms of placements. Still, this college is better than others. About 50-60 percent students got placement letter last year. Average package is around 3-3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS and Wipro were among the recruiting companies. About 60 percent student applied for internships and almost all of them got them.
Infrastructure: Only first year students are allotted hostels. After one year, you can get a PG or a flat, which are easily available in the close proximity of the college. Hostels are fine, Mess is also not bad. Curfew timing for girls can be an issue here. Canteen is not up to date in this college. You can play any sports like cricket, basketball, football, badminton, archery etc. NCC is also available if you are interested. You will get free Wi-Fi facility in the hostel and library. Library is always crowded as this is the place, which gets 24*7 air conditioning.
Faculty: The curriculum is up to date usually. Faculty is very supportive and helpful expect 1,2 teachers who don't know how to talk to anyone and are very rude. The curriculum is quite relevant, you will be alloted same teachers as of B.Tech students. Main subjects like operating system, OOPS, DSA, etc., which are very important for interviews, are also available. Semester exams can be a piece of cake if you are regular and you can prepare well if you know only the syllabus. Seniors are always helpful if you ask them for notes or some guidance. You have to pass in the theory and practical discreetly to pass a particular subject.
Other: I was not clear about my future, B.Tech would have been too much for me if I would have decided to change my field later on. BCA provides you good perspective towards the basic functioning of computers. You can also apple for MCA which will provide you same career opportunities like a B.Tech student. College is very crowded. Its size is very small as compared to the courses it is providing. Density is quite high. Culmyca is the cultural fest which is not happening for the last 3 years because of the pandemic. Maybe it will happen soon. You can get scholarship if you are good at studies and having financial issues.

Q:   Is YMCA University good for M.Sc.?

    A:
    {Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

    * Infrastructure: The university has a good infrastructure, with well-equipped laboratories, comfortable classrooms, and a decent library.
    * Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. They guide students not just in academics but also for career growth and entrances like GATE or CSIR NET.
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant, and the syllabus is designed well. However, some students felt that it could be more challenging.
    * Examinations: Semester exams are considered moderate to difficult, but with good preparation, students can achieve good grades.
    * Placement: While most students praised the placement record for B.Tech and MBA students, the situation was different for M.Sc. students. About 30% of students got placed, but mostly in low-paying jobs.
    * Research Opportunities: Unfortunately, internships were not available in the M.Sc. program.
    * Career Growth: Although the placement scenario wasn't ideal, students believed that the quality education and research opportunities prepared them well for further studies or careers.

In summary, while YMCA University has its strengths, particularly in terms of infrastructure and faculty, the M.Sc. programme seems to have limitations in terms of placement and research opportunities. It's essential for aspiring students to weigh these factors carefully when considering the university for their higher education.

Please note that these observations are based on a compilation of students' and alumni's reviews and might not represent the entire experience.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing M.E./M.Tech at YMCA University?

    A:
    {Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * Campus life is great, with many clubs, sporting grounds, and facilities.
    * Faculty members are generally experienced and knowledgeable.
    * Research opportunities and seminars are organized regularly.
    * Hostel facilities are available for girls and boys, although the condition may vary.

    Cons:
    * Curriculum is outdated and redundant, leading to limited job prospects.
    * Placements for M.Tech (CSE) are poor, and students often struggle to find jobs.
    * Teachers may lack qualifications in M.Tech and prioritize theoretical over practical learning.
    * Facilities such as drinking water, canteen food, and washrooms need improvement.
    * High expectations regarding grades and attendance can lead to stress.

Considering these points, while YMCA University may have some strengths, the overall experience seems to be mixed. Students may face challenges finding suitable employment due to the outdated curriculum and poor placements. However, those interested in research or wanting to gain hands-on experience may still consider attending the institution. Ultimately, it depends on individual priorities and goals.

Q:   Can I get admission in YMCA Faridabad through CUET?

    A:

No, CUET is not compulsory for admission at YMCA University. YMCA takes the students on the basis of merit or entrance exam score. Admission to BSc, BA, BBA, BCA and MA programmes are based on merit. Programmes like MBA, BTech and MTech requires and entrance exam score. JEE Mains and LEET exam compulsory for admission to BE/BTech course.  CAT/MAT/XAT is required to get admission in MBA and PGDM programmes at YMCA Faridabad.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

    A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
