Personally, our college is a very good study place.

Placements: Our course is a general course, so our placement percentage is 65%. To recruit companies like ABP, Protidin, AJ Kal, etc. Our course is offered by a top journalist company as a reporter and writer. The highest package is 13 lacs, and the lowest package is 8 lacs. Our course students are interns from the journalist company.

Infrastructure: Our department is really good; there is Wi-Fi, and water is available. The classroom is modern, with a digital board available and a large library. Hostel quality is really good because Wi-Fi is available, cold and hot water is provided, food is hygienic, and medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful; they help us with our project work. All of our teachers are Ph.D. holders, and they also have five years of teaching experience. These courses have many types of curriculum organized, like drama, debate, and song competitions. Our course exam semester is not easy or deficient; the student pass percentage is 85%.

Other: I want to be a journalist or a writer, so I chose this course. Here, festivals are most important; campus all the time.

Our college is very good compared to other colleges.

Placements: 60% of students are placed in our department. The top recruiters are ABP, Aaj Tak, Protidin, and any other companies that visit our department. The highest package is 10 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. 70–80% students got internships in our department at AajTak, AnandaBazar, etc.

Infrastructure: Our department's facilities and infrastructure are very good. There is available Wi-Fi, labs, smart class room, digital library, etc. The quality of the hostel room is very good and the hostel food is also good. Here, medical facilities are available and sports and games are also available.

Faculty: Our department teachers are very helpful; if there is a problem with understanding, please come individually. Our department also has university teachers who are Ph.D. holders with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Our course is easy for others because it's our mother tongue. Passing % is 95.

Other: It's my dream because I want to be a journalist.

The college provides the best education, and I had a good college life.

Placements: More than 10% of students were placed. Almost 65 to 75% of students are offered placement opportunities in our course. Many private companies offered placements to 1% of students. 1% of merit students got a chance of direct placements.

Infrastructure: Hostels facilities are good. Food quality is good. In the event, many games like cricket, badminton, football, etc., are conducted. Lots of events are conducted. There is no Wi-Fi available, but classrooms and benches are large. I guess 10 students can sit on a bench.

Faculty: The teachers are a lot strict, and they taught us roughly. Students ask questions to teachers, and teachers appreciate them because they are curious to know about the subject. The pass percentage is 50%, and exams are tough to crack. Sometimes, we run out of time as the answers are very big.

Other: I love to read Bengali, so I chose it. Many events and fests are conducted occasionally twice a year. I wish to improve the number of students and rooms.

Jadavpur University is the best in West Bengal.

Placements: Our arts faculty students union every year organised placement related things, and we also have a placement cell which is enough action to provide jobs to the qualified students. Our seniors are now well-settled and well-earned. The salary is like Rs 15,000 and above. Hi-Tech, 24 Ghanta, Abp, and Vivo are among those companies have visited our college regarding placement. The roles of managing director, manager, and marketing head are the roles frequently offered by them to students.

Infrastructure: We have all facilities in the college including seminar halls and almost every 3 weeks every department have seminars. They even give food packets at the end of those seminars. We have official projectors, computers, and every department has a departmental library and also a central library, so overall infrastructure of the college is excellent.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are highly qualified, trained, and also responsible. They complete our syllabus of each semester every time and also provide notes for study. Sometimes they use projectors to show as some presentations related to our course, and we also have remedial classes and doubt clearing classes after 4 pm every weekday in the college.

Other: We have three students union in the college like FETSU, SFSU, and AFSU. They organise freshers and fest named Sanskriti and our clubs like Ju journal, Ju drama club, and music club also organise various events all over the year. The unions and authorities give separate scholarships to help students and also provide hostels to accommodate students coming from far areas. The campus crowd of the college is pretty awesome. We have bonding regardless of our faculty and departments, and the campus has somehow a political ambience overall.

More than satisfied with my experience in JU.

Placements: At least thirty of them went on to become successful in academics and pursued it forward. The rest completed masters and either dropped out or changed concentration. As per internships are concerned, there are not too many after completing just a bachelor's degree.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fantastic. We got Wi-Fi. We never required labs. The classrooms were tidy and huge enough to listen to the teachers. Recreational centres, libraries and basketball court and the whole nine yards are present. Canteen food was pretty good too. I would give a rating of 4 out of 5.

Faculty: The best part of our department is the faculty. The teachers were amazing. They are always helpful and always friendly. The student to faculty ratio would differ, but every teacher was helpful in their own way. I don't think I could've gotten any better teacher elsewhere.

Other: The fest conducted is excellent. JU is already quite famous for its campus life.
