Although they did not have very good infrastructural facilities, there was focus on group learning through presentations and with the aid of new technologies like tablets, video learning. Also a lot of guest lectures were held from reputed people from the academic and industrial background. It maintained a perfect balance of academic and non- academic activities and hence provided a brilliant atmosphere for learning.
It's a good and cheap place to study at with good and motivating teachers. The ambience for students is great to explore themselves and their hidden talents. It's one of the oldest institutions in India (even older than IITs). It is open to students all over India and they face no problems at all.
The faculty members are experienced. The department enjoys all the facilities of being at the centre of Kolkata. Close relations between faculty and students are the key point for this department. However, the infrastructure could have been better. The library has got a huge collection of books.
Jadavpur University is the top university in West Bengal and 11th position in all over India. Mechanical and computer science departments are the best departments of JU. Faculty members are average of our department. Compassing is very good. In 2014-15 year, placement scenario was very good. On an average, every student has a job.
This is a government college and is probably the best college to get an admission through WBJEE. It is great in terms of campus life, placements, and research facilities. However, certain facilities which should be available to all engineering students, are not available to the students. For instance, Wi-Fi is available on paper, but honestly, you don't know the password. Also, internships in the third year are also a rarity and the placements aren't going at par with the IITs. Firstly as it is rumored, that only Bengal domiciled student will get admission to Jadavpur University which is completely wrong. Anyone can get admission to Jadavpur University based on the ranking in the WBJEE Exam. 1) Campus has almost all facilities but they not well managed 2) Student Politics is quite active. But inside it is for good reason but it is hampering the college reputation outside. 3) Ratio of teacher-student is quite low for Information Technology Department.
The best faculty and campus environment. Fee is very low. Placements are good. Way of teaching is impressive. Great exposure and clubs. Facilities are excellent. Library is high quality with lots of books. Canteens are good. Hostel facilities are excellent. Free LAN and Wi-Fi.
Jadavpur University comfortably ranks among the top engineering colleges in India. JU has one of the finest student minds in the country. Placements: Jadavpur University Placements average package stood at INR 21.60 LPA for the CSE batch which is followed by INR 20.77 LPA for the IT batch & INR 19 LPA for the ETE batch.A total of 94% of candidates were placed during the Jadavpur University CSE Placements in 2023. According to reports, Jadavpur University Highest Package during placements in 2023, was INR 85 LPA. Over 1,000 students were recruited and 1,200 offers in total were received during the Jadavpur University Placement.
Placements: The placements for this course is zero; there is no placement whatever, maybe for Masters, yes but Bachelors of Arts in History, no. This course doesn't offer any placements and I would love if it did in the future. Maybe for the outer world, this course doesn't offer a really good system of placements, due to which it is not available .
Placements: B.A. English is not a professional course but rather an academic one. Hence, placements do not take place. Most people pursue master's and PhD degrees before starting a job. Consequently, we are not offered any internships. It is purely an academic course.
Placements: Top recruiting companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Facebook, PWC, Wipro, TCS, etc., visit our campus. Our college provides many job opportunities at TI, Emphasis, Qualcomm, Samsung, etc. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 1 crore PA.
Placements: The number of students placed here is 84%. The highest salary package offered during Jadavpur University placements in 2021 was Rs 58 LPA. Furthermore, more than 750 offers were made and 620+ students were placed in 2021.
Placements: Placements are increasing every year. Core jobs are more offered to students than non-core jobs. PSUs visit our college every year to hire students. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 72 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Jio, Airbus, TCS, etc. Placements records are getting cracked every year.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are Tata, Hitachi, Bajaj, Reliance, Samsung, Microsoft, Cesc and some government companies. About 40% of students got internships from here. Top roles offered here were assistant engineers and assistant executive directors.
Placements: The college always offers the best placement record as compared to the other government colleges. Top-notch companies visit our college to hire some of the genius minds and offer the highest salary package. Many of the students work in companies like Tata Consultancy, Wipro, etc.
Placements: In my course 50% students were placed. Actually the highest package or the course is 2.5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are TISCO, JINDAL etc. I miss my college so much. The college campus are so interesting and clean environmental.
