Candidates must have passed with of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the master's degree* (2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree Programme#) or equivalent in the relevant subject subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CUET + Interview # Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree* programme with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible. OR candidate who has completed 4-years/8-semesters bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 75% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC and have minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in teaching/research/Industry is also eligible subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview or M.Tech. or M.E./MS ( with CSE or IT or Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or Networking and Security or Information Systems or Data Science and Analytics or Cyber Security and Forensics or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning or Computing Systems and Infrastructure or Software Systems or Cloud Computing or Mobile Computing ) or equivalent. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
