Placements: The most important thing for any college is placements. And with placements, there is an issue in the college. The seats of LPU can never be filled completely because they can take as many students as they want. In the batch of 2010-2014, there were 3000+ students in mechanical engineering alone. And at the time of placements, companies come up with a package of 8000-15000/month. And for this also, at least 1000 students compete. Placements: About 60-70% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA in call centre job, and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA for computer engineer in Amazon. A top recruiting company like Amazon, Cognizant, and Bosch visited the campus. About 50% of students got an internship.

Placements: From the last few years, our college placement is going good. Near about 80% students are getting placed with the good salary packages. This time the highest salary offered to the students of our college is about 16 lakhs by Amazon. Near about 50% students of our college get an internship from the college. Placements: Placements are good but the students are not getting placed in core companies. Here, less than 40% of the students are placed in the campus drive and less than 5% got placed in mechanical core companies. For the mechanical students, the highest package offered is less than 7 LPA but most of the students get the package between 2 - 4.5 LPA. Cognizant and Tech Mahindra always visit our campus. Placements: In 2014, the placements were good for the students who scored CGPA above 8.5. But, fewer placement opportunities were provided for the students who scored a CGPA less than 7. But before 2014, only BPOs and KPOs were visiting the campus for recruitment. Companies such as HCL, Wipro and Cognizant are regular visitors.

Placements: Around 10% of the batch was placed. High criteria to sit for placement drives for good companies. Steria, Wipro, Aon Hewitt, and TCS are a few of the names that visited the campus. Students have to suffer after completing their degrees to fetch a decent job. Be part of LPU only when you have enough money in the bank and just go there to enjoy.

Placements: The placement in the IT sectors was average (few exceptions), and companies like Cognizant and IBM came for the placements. For the mechanical engineering branch, very few core companies visited the campus eg. L&T. The lowest package offered was around 1.44 lakhs/annum and the highest was around 4 lakhs/annum. The students who try for the internship get it and in some cases, they do get paid a stipend of around Rs 10,000/month.

Placements: The placements are good here as nearly 80% of the students got placed. The highest package this year is nearly 15 LPA and the lowest for CSE stands at 2-3 LPA. Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Josh, Code Brew, Unisys, Samsung, Amazon, etc. have visited this year. Some were product based and the remaining were service based.

This College does has a lot to promise but not everything is provided as promised. Lack of individual focus on students and variations in assignments confines the capability of the students. More extra-curricular activities which includes practical work over theory might bring the best out of students. Good in terms of infrastructure and the worst part is having no selection criteria for intake of students. Some of the faculty members are too good in areas of their expertise but most of them are equally worst. Good in terms of campus life and infrastructure. I don't have many good things to write about this college. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is good; the Placements for Mechanical Engineering are way below average. By the time I graduated, not even 10% of my batch was placed. Most of my batch mates are either pursuing post-graduation or still hunting for a job.
