Our college is situated in hilly area.

Placements: AICTE was one of the internship opportunities provided to us so far. Maybe in the coming days, we will see more internship opportunities. The internships provided are stipend-based, and most of them are certified courses, which are useful during placements. As I am still in my 2nd year, we don’t have any projects to work on yet. From the next year (3rd year), we might start working on projects.

Infrastructure: No annual fest is celebrated in my college; only fresher and farewell parties are organized, and these are funded by the students, not by the college. There is a library with a good collection of books, but you can issue only three books at a time. Classrooms are good, similar to other government colleges. There is no seminar lab. Sports facilities are not provided by the college, and if students want to play games, they need to buy their own equipment. No sports fest is celebrated either. There is, however, a group of students active on social media.

Faculty: The total number of students is approximately 2,500 to 2,800, and the faculty strength is around 90 to 100. All the junior lecturers are kind and helpful, but the senior faculty maintains a professional attitude, often full of ego, and expects students to strictly adhere to their directions without considering students’ opinions.

Techno India University is the best university.

Placements: Almost 95% of students have been placed in different sectors. Our University offers internships to everyone. At the end of the internship, everyone gets a good job. Top recruiting companies are Geological Survey of India, Mineral Exploration Authority, Coal India, and Meteorological Survey of India. Our job roles include Oceanographer and Ocean Freight Manager.

Infrastructure: Our University infrastructure is very good. There are beautiful gardens with birdcages. Our university has great internet facilities for all. Our laboratory rooms are fully equipped for students. We have a sitting-reading facility in our library, where all books are available. Our classrooms are surrounded by machines, making it a good place to study.

Faculty: Our teachers help us in our studies a lot. They also mentor us in various sports and cultural events. Also, everyone is a very knowledgeable person, and they tell us the strategy before the exams, so we can pass the final exam with good marks.

SVIMS: an average institute under MAKAUT.

Placements: Placement is poor to average for students passing M.Sc. in biotechnology. Although you can get opportunities for internships in your final year. After the course, some go for higher studies like Ph.D., while others try to secure off-campus placements in healthcare technology.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in the course are not up to the mark. Students will face many problems in this college. The infrastructure is not well developed. There is no ideal availability of a mess. Although classrooms are neat and clean. There are no medical and sports facilities available as well.

Faculty: Faculty members are average in experience, although they are student-friendly. Their teaching quality is not so good. The course curriculum is not according to the requirements of modern biotechnologists. The pass percentage is high here, and they give a decent CGPA to average students.

A very good college with best infrastructure.

Placements: The college gives a very good placement in courses like B.Tech, BCA, M.Tech, MBA etc. The average salary for these types of courses is around 3-4 LPA. The recruitment companies are IBM, TCS, and WIPRO.

Infrastructure: The university has an excellent infrastructure. All the classrooms are air-conditioned and clean. They give us a very good wi-fi connection inside the campus. We have a library and all books are available. We have very good types of Physics labs where every essential facility is available.

Faculty: The faculty members are great. They are skilled in their field. And also behaved with us friendly and they told us that we can approach them any time without any hesitation. They teach us well with practical examples. The curriculum of this course is well-managed, and we all read the exact things that should be in M.Sc. in Physics.

Everything about the college is good along with the management.

Placements: 98.9% is the number of students getting placed with the highest package of 3.60 LPA, the lowest package of 2.32 with an average of 2.53 LPA. Top recruiters include Taj, Hyatt, Trident, Ritz Carlton, reliance retail, curated living, zolo stays, and Marriott international. 100% internship opportunities are provided. Top roles offered are that of management trainee, hotel operation trainee, department associate, DMIT, and guest relation officer.

Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi across the campus with a designed department lab, language lab, computer lab having PMS & pos softwares. The hostels also provide facilities including gym, sports and yoga. The hostel cleaning is also good along with the warden being friendly and good .

Faculty: The teachers of my course are very friendly and very helpful. They are always concerned about the students. The teachers always help the students in solving their problems and provide support. The curriculum definitely provides all a great training for the students to get into the industry. 99% is the passing percentage.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the hospitality industry. I think the syllabus can be better and improve this course.

Dissatisfied with placement, satisfied with infrastructure, faculty, facilities, and friends.

Placements: About M.Sc. microbiology 2023 batch placement: It is relatively very less. Students do not get enough opportunities. We have a batch of 50 students, but only 25 students were able to get a job. Getting a job in MNC companies has become difficult nowadays. Mostly pharma companies, followed by beverages companies, come for hiring. Nestle India and Canpack are the top recruiters with a package of 5 lakhs per annum. Getting an internship is easy; my advice is to get an internship and try to get a full-time role in the same company.

Infrastructure: The location of the University is far from town. The University is still under development, and new areas are improving at a high pace. The biotech building does not have a central air conditioning system; in summers, it is difficult to sit. The college laboratory and library are well-maintained; all books, chemicals, and essential components are available. Yes, we have hostels on campus for both girls and boys. The food quality in both the hostel and canteen is not proper, but hygiene is maintained in the canteen. We do not have permission to see the mess kitchen, so I cannot comment on the mess hygiene. Proper drinking water facilities are not available. For sports, our ground is very big, and many sports like cricket, football, and kabaddi are played on the ground.

Faculty: We have highly qualified and very motivating and encouraging professors on campus. However, we have a high workload of assignments and deadlines that are not needed. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry, but opportunities like GATE and placements are very limited. The course is practical-oriented; we have two sessions for practicals every day. Semester exams are not difficult, but they require preparation to clear. Almost all students who appear for tests pass, but achieving good grades is a difficult task.

Other: Hostel feels are not included in mess; mess feels are separate. Please discuss it before taking admission in the hostel; otherwise, it creates a lot of trouble.
