Placements: The placements are average as many students get jobs from off-campus placements. Companies don't recruit in huge numbers. They take less than 15 students in one recruitment. They should also bring companies that recruit students who have got less than 60% marks in either 10th or 12th. So, every student gets a placement.

Placements: Only 3 pupils from our department have been placed out of 53, and that was through pool campusing. No internship facilities are available. Even in the case of summer or winter training session, you have to manage them by your own.

Placements: The placement of mechanical department is not as good as compared to departments such as computer science and IT which have good placements, because there are not many mechanical engineering based companies in Kolkata. So the recruitment is very less but service-based companies like TCS recruit us in large numbers.

Placements: Placements were satisfactory in the previous year but not as expected or as told to us by the college. 60% students were placed in the previous year in various companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Sankalp Electronics, Wipro, L&T and many others. Placements: In my college, there were very less placements for core branch students. Only one person in my batch got a good job in Triveni Turbines. Some students (3 or 4) got a job in the sales department while the rest were still jobless including me. Some were looking for private jobs while some were preparing for government jobs. But nowadays, everyone knows about the bad condition of core sector jobs.

Placements: Regarding the placements, college always shows that the placement percentage is almost 100%. But they lack in the quality of placements. The companies are basically mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc which offer a package of around Rs 3-4 lakh per annum. There are some good companies to which offers a placement of around Rs 6-8 lakh per annum but they recruit only a few students numbered around 10 at a maximum. Placements: Not up to the mark at all. They are not providing good placements for years now. Only 10-20 people out of 60 in IT got placed in good companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. which is a very bad ratio as per my opinion and it is the same for CSE and other departments. Placements: Techno India group is only doing business. They don't have quality placement in any streams. Though placement is quite good in engineering stream, especially in computer science & information technology streams. The placements of other engineering streams are not good. In civil & other core branches, they don't have any placement. In management courses like MBA, BBA, BHM, placement is very poor. In BCA also, placement is not good.

Placements: This college has a placement of 70%-90% but it depends on the batch. If students have learned Java, C, C++, PHP, SQL, etc, have a CGPA of 6.75 and above up to the 6th semester, 60% and above in 10th and 12th and have good communication skills, then he or she will definitely get placed in software companies. Placements: Very few good companies came. Mostly, there were marketing companies & start-ups. Very few companies came for core branches. Moreover, the companies offered very less salary. Some good companies like Tech Mahindra, Johnson Control India also came. Many marketing companies like Think and Learn, Pompei came.

Placements: Placements were zero in number as we were the first batch, though I cracked it anyhow, that too in the sales job which was quite a field work. So initially, we had to reject it other students are still unemployed now. Companies that came were mostly fake and demanded money from the students. Other companies which came were Wipro and BPS. TCS came and that too not for our college but took students from the main campus. Overall, money and years were wasted. ...

Placements: Placement is not so good as most students in the final year are jobless. 3 LPA is the average salary offered. Infosys and Wipro have visited the campus. Generally, IT roles are offered. Internships are hard to get here. They are the same as on the online websites. Companies visiting the college campus for internships are very rare.

Placements: Worst placement in mechanical branch. Not a single core company visited our college this year. Our previous batch suffered from fake placements. Only sales and CCE jobs are offered with low packages. CRTT department also doesn't take any responsibility or listen to us. Only 5 percent of the students are placed. The college sends the students for pool campusing.

Placements: Mechanical engineering is the new branch in the college. So, placement opportunities are very rare for the branch and other core departments. The first batch of the mechanical engineering passed just in 2016, in which the companies which came for placement were mostly IT sector companies. Out the 60 students in the first batch, 32 got a job offer from TCS, which is the main recruiter here, with a package of 3.4 lakh per annum on average. Placements: Placement is not so good as it was below average for our batch. Only 10-15% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 4 lacs and only one or two students got it. The lowest salary was 96k. Infosys and Wipro came in zero slot but only 140 students got placed. The roles offered were that of an associate software engineer, etc. Less than one percent students got an internship from the college.

Placements: They do not offer any placements here and they just bluff that 80% students got placed and such. But trust me, neither the faculty team is good nor the placements are good.

Placements: The placement in this college is very poor. No civil engineering companies come for placement. The placement officer also does not care about all these things. Many times she is not even found in college. One cannot even complain about placement. Only sales, marketing and call centre jobs are offered to civil engineers.

Placements: The core branch never gets placed, thus poor placements. For IT sector, there are 90% placements. Only pool campus drives are organised. The college did not care about students' placement. There is no interaction between the training placement officer and students and no news of companies. The maximum package offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Placements: My rank was 5 in the mechanical department of 150 students. Rank 1 in our college got placed in TCS. Of course, I was placed. Not a single core company visited our college. Just 5 student were placed in TCS. The faculty was also good except few. Placement is extremely since the last 5 to 6 years. All the core branches have the same story. Software department also does not guarantee you placement here because most of my friends remained jobless though they had opted for computer science. ...

Placements: The faculty of the placement department in our college doesn't take any responsibility to provide jobs to the students. The good students are doing jobs in banking sector and the medium students are still searching for jobs. They took Rs. 6000 from us saying they would offer us a good campus placement.
