Great place to begin with!
Placements: This year, the intake was 120 students for CSE for the year 2023-2024. Placements were decent but not as good as previous years, mostly due to the recession. Yet, the average for CSE was 17 LPA, with the highest package being about 64 LPA in CSE. The good thing about the college is that this year, most branches hit the highest package above 40 LPA, except civil. Overall, the median for B.Tech is above 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: It has good infrastructure, and a very green and serene campus. Classes and labs are decent. LAN is available in hostels with a maximum speed of 90 to 100 Mbps. The food in the mess is quite good, and students themselves can manage the quality and menu of the food. NO NON-VEG IS ALLOWED ON THE CAMPUS.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and helpful. But what I feel is that they lack enthusiasm, not in the subject matter or research, but in teaching. Yet, they are helpful and will guide you through your B.Tech journey. In a semester, two midterms and one end-term exam are held. You can easily pass or even excel in the exams if you are consistent.

NIT Kurukshetra Review.
Placements: The placement percentage of students getting placed is around 80-90%. The highest package goes up to 55 to 60 Lacs, the average package is around 12 Lacs per annum, and the lower package is around 7 to 8 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, and many more. Microsoft and Google also visit the campus. A large percentage of students get internships in the third year, and some of them also get PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers). The top roles offered are Software Development Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Scientist, and ML Engineers.
Infrastructure: The hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi and basic necessities like a table, mattresses, etc. In the second and third years, students have their own personal rooms. There is also a TV room, which is a common room where students can relax and chill. There are facilities available for games and different sports, and medical facilities are also available within the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach in a manner that students can understand the concepts really well. They break down the concepts easily so that the students can understand them. Most of the teachers in the college are Ph.D. holders, or some of them are pursuing Ph.D. Students can also collaborate with the teachers to write research papers or work on research papers. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate to difficult. The only thing that needs to be done is studying consistently throughout the year.
Other: The campus crowd is quite nice, and there are events and fests happening every now and then. The alumni network is quite strong and active, which would be quite helpful in learning and networking. Scholarships are also provided to students who cannot afford education and are brilliant at studies.

Peaceful college, good environment, decent placement, better if the college was in a good city.
Placements: Currently, 60% of students from the Computer branch are placed, and the placement has improved from last year. For internships, it is even better, so possibly from next year, it will get better. The highest package is currently from Google, and the lowest is from Infosys. The average package is around 20 lakhs. Internships for our batch were not good; only some people got placed at MNCs, and most of them were girls who got off-campus placements. Most roles offered were for software developers.
Infrastructure: Hostel conditions are very bad. They are not renovated, and the washroom conditions are the worst. There is only one good hostel, but its food is bad, and one hostel has good food, but the toilets are very bad. Most of the time, the internet LAN doesn't work in the hostels, whereas the Wi-Fi on campus is superfast. The classrooms are in good condition, and AC works well in the summer. The library and reading rooms are great. There is a sports ground in the hostel, and for girls, many sports facilities are available. Not much for boys in the hostel, but they can go to the sports ground easily anytime.
Faculty: Teachers are quite qualified and very supportive. They understand students' needs properly, but the bad thing is that sometimes they ignore the doubts asked by students and just read PPTs. This is valid for only a few teachers, while others explain well. The course is good, and many things are taught apart from studies, which directly help with industry-level work or production-level code. Semester exams are quite tough, as there are two mid-sem exams and one end-sem exam.
Other: Coding was always my go-to thing, and the college was quite near my home. It is also one of the top colleges in the North. The college organizes the second-largest cultural fest in the North and also provides scholarships based on different criteria like academic excellence and sports. They are slowly removing some unnecessary subjects like Chemistry from branches like CS and IT.

Best knowledge by the best college.
Placements: Last year, the percentage of students placed was 40 percent. The highest package, of course, is around 50 to 60 lacs. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, Tata electronics and more. Around 50% of students got internships. Roles offered in companies are according to the skills of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very well designed for hostels and courses. Every room is well maintained and a LAN is provided for internet connectivity. The quality of food is decent for all hostels, if we are talking about an average rating. The canteen is also situated in many places. Classrooms are very well designed with full air conditioning.
Faculty: The curriculum is very relevant, according to the students. Teachers are highly educated and qualified for teaching. Also, they complete their education at high universities. The semester exam is neither easy nor very hard; it lies on average. And the syllabus is enough for examinations.

NIT Kurukshetra and its hostel review.
Placements: The placements at my college are not so good because, for the last two years, the number of companies that visit our college has decreased. As a result, the average package of my college has decreased. Firstly, students must build good skills and prepare for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. I opted for a hostel in NIT Kurukshetra and got a single-seater room, but now two students live in this room. It has two balconies, an almirah, and there is no vacant space for a chair. The faculty of the college is good, but some of them are too strict. There is availability of books, a library, and a computer lab. There is a good environment for sports and coding.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is good, but some of them are too strict while others are polite and have very interactive behavior. The quality is good. The curriculum of my college is outdated, and we have to study some subjects like workshops (Engineering Practices), in which we study tasks like welding, machine shop, pattern making, foundry, etc.

No, the JEE Main is what gives admissions to the BTech programmes at NIT Kurukshetra. The National Testing Agency in India conducts the JEE Main, which is a national-level engineering entrance examination. The student must necessarily appear for the examination and score sufficiently high to appear for the admission at NIT Kurukshetra.  The college shortlists candidates for the admission process using the score obtained in the JEE Main scores and offers seats in the BTech programme.
