Satisfied with the faculty members, environment and placements.

Placements: I'm in the final year of my course. Till now, 85% of the students are placed in CSE branch and companies are still coming in my college. The students who have CPI greater than 5.0 are eligible for the placement. The highest package offered by any company in my college till now is CTC 23 LPA and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. The roles offered by the companies are platform engineer, consultant, operation engineer and software engineer. In terms of internships, approx. 40% of the students have got intern...

MNNIT-Allahabad - The college you know, the journey you don't.

Placements: Talking about the placement of 2016-2017, there is an increase in number of companies who have come for intern as well as full time. Total number of interns this year till now is about 100-120, among which number of CSE-IT students is around70-80. Moreover, there is also a huge increase in number of full-time offers. Companies like Samsung and Wallmart have recruited more than 10 students. Also, the average package this year for CS-IT is around 11-12 LPA. Most of the companies were happy with t...

Good placements than other NIT colleges

Placements: MNNIT, Allahabad is among the top NIT colleges because of its placements. For B.Tech students placements are excellent specially for computer science, IT and electronics engineering students. Placements for M.Tech student is also good specially for computer science and electronics students. Mostly, software companies come for placements. Core companies like Qualcomm had come.

Infrastructure- The college has an eco-friendly environment and an amazing campus. It has a green campus with a large area and many facilities like a big canteen, large and airy classrooms. Library- Almost all the related books are available in the library and a fair internet connection is available at all times. The area covered by the library is also huge. Faculty- I belong to the mechanical engineering department and do not know enough about other departments. As far as ME department is...

MNNIT is the first college in India to teach computer science and engineering. The faculty is experienced and well educated. Fees are very less and the facilities are worth the money. The hostels are bit old but the 1st year hostel is a new one. Mess food is ordinary but good as compared to other colleges.

It is a government aided college and comes under national institute category. Like other NITs, this institute also faces problems giving placement to M. Tech students except for CS Engineering courses. Most of the time, students end up in teaching jobs. Few private companies also come for recruitment but do not show much interest. Apart from this, courses for M.Tech are good and environment, especially for a guide-scholar relationship, is good.

MNNIT is a good place to learn. Though the faculty of some subjects is just average, which gives you an opportunity to learn by yourself. I don't say that the college has a very good infrastructure, but it is a place where one could live without facing any problem. The college provides many good opportunities to develop and conducts various events like Avishkar, Renaissance, athletics, etc. which helps the students in practical learning. Now, speaking about coding, I can say that the college ha...

Satisfied because of Food Placements and Campus, but Faculty is not good.

Placements: Placements are going well this year. 82.48% students were placed in ECE previous year. The maximum package was 27 LPA by Amazon and the average package was around 7.5 LPA. If you want to opt for a software engineering job, you must ho for CSE, ECE or IT. Some of the company names which come in my mind are Amazon, Cisco, Walmart, Flipkart, Direct, Goldmann Sachs and many more.

Infrastructure -6/10. Faculty (CED) - 6/10. Campus Life-8/10. Fun Activity-8/10. Sports-7/10. Placements-8/10. Overall, the college is very good. The placement is good. Many good companies visit the college every year and almost everybody gets a good job. People in the past have achieved so much. Most of them have qualified engineering services and other exams and now are in the Central Government Services or various PSUs or in the State Engineering Department.

The college is very good for traditional engineering. There is a good academic environment but more co-curricular activities are needed. There are good placements, especially for computer sciences. The faculty members are good for engineering but have a conservative mindset. More infrastructural amenities are needed.

Needs a radical reformation in course curriculum as well as administration.

Placements: I am the student placement coordinator for MBA. I am happy to report that 3 new companies (Jaro Education, PNB Housing Finance and Ujjivan SFB) have recruited a sizeable number of students this year and we have been able to build a long-term partnership with them. Apart from this, regular recruiters like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Idea Cellular and Vodafone have continued their partnership with us apart from a whole host of others. Nearly 50% of the batch has been placed in the first of the academic...

MNNIT is basically a technical institute where a lot of opportunities are there in MBA. It gives exposure to students with a technical effect which is a demand of this era. The fee structure is average, one can get more than in return. Teachers are very helpful with their subjects and in counseling the students. Campus facility is good. Hostel and mess facilities are fine. The environment is familiar and one can easily adjust. Different types of courses are there.

It is a well-known autonomous college. In MNNIT, MBA is a dual degree course. The lectures are quite interactive, and there are few case study and problem-solving sessions. The placements are above average. The campus is very good with a well-developed infrastructure. Its fee is quite less as compared to other B-schools in the same class. If you are looking for a "Value for Money" college, then your search ends here.

This is an above average college with a very good return on investment. One can enjoy college life as all the facilities required for a college student are provided on the campus. Other than studies, one can excel in other co-curricular activities as well because there are so many fests, events, etc. from time to time. I would say this is a good college overall.

It's a college of national importance so obviously ample amount of facilities and opportunities are there but if you have to harness them you have to be on your own. Good companies hire from this college and at very good salaries depending on your performance. Extra-curricular activities are also in abundance. You can get a national level platform to show your extra talent in different intercollege events.

MNNIT features in the top 4 NIT's of India (along with NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, and NIT Surathkal) and is undoubtedly the top NIT of North India. It is the first choice of most engineering aspirants who are not able to make into the older IIT's, as its placements and infrastructure are a lot better than the newer IIT's which are still struggling with their infrastructure and faculty.
