A:

Admissions to PG courses are based on entrance exams, which means candidates must qualify for assessments such as JEE Main; however, UG admissions rely on merit, considering scores from the most recent qualifying exam. I got the placement from this college, so I am already satisfied.
Placements: You cannot doubt the placement. The college provides one of the best placements for us and has a record of 100% placement. A few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the internship program. The efforts of the placement committee are really superb. We have to register our names with the placement committee for placement, which ensures that everyone is properly placed. The highest package for our batch was around 78 LPA, and the average package was around 22.50 LPA. More than 75 companies visited our campus for the college placement drive.
Infrastructure: In the first year of M.Tech, students are typically allotted rooms in the hostel known as 1.8K. The rooms are shared by two occupants, with each person having their own bed, table, chair, and cupboard. The room is equipped with one fan and one tube light. The hostel mess, however, tends to be quite crowded during meal times, and the quality of the food is not considered very good, with many students finding it lacking in taste. Upon reporting to the campus, M.Tech students receive their room allotment and mess card. The accommodation and mess fees for one semester amount to ₹27,000.
Faculty: The curriculum of my program is good and updated. It comprises current trends regarding my major. The curriculum is research-oriented, involving working on projects and discussing real-world case studies. You will learn the best techniques and skills that will help you in your professional life. The grades are evaluated based on your performance in surprise quizzes and tests. However, in the last two semesters, you have to work on a project or conduct research alongside the aforementioned tasks to pass the semester. The faculty are mostly doctorates with good experience who also publish research papers. Most of them are good at teaching, depending on the subjects they deal with, as some theory subjects can be naturally boring. Usually, most of the questions come from classroom lessons. Internal exams are conducted three times a semester, and the best two of three are taken as results in the end. Semester exams are at the end of the fourth month. You can pass easily if you stay alert in classes and study a bit. But due to COVID-19, we currently have online examinations, which should go well since they are multiple-choice questions for both internals (15 questions) and externals (50 questions).
Other: The campus is culturally diverse, giving us opportunities to learn from different cultures. The college provides a good environment for studies and research. Sarang is the annual fest of the college, and Shastra is the technical fest where we get an opportunity to showcase our innovative ideas. The college library is one of the largest in the country, with many books from around the world by various authors. International research journals are also available in the library. The research labs are modern and equipped with all types of tools for research activities. The college infrastructure is well maintained.

Outstanding faculty and relevant curriculum prepare students for success.
Placements: Gujarat Forensic Science University’s M.Tech in Cyber Security offers solid industry exposure. About 85% of students were placed, with packages ranging from ₹5 LPA to ₹15 LPA (average around ₹10 LPA). Top recruiters include Wipro, IBM, and Deloitte. Approximately 70% secured internships at companies like CyberTech, leading to roles like Security Analyst and Penetration Tester.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern tech, and the labs are well-maintained. Wi-Fi is reliable, though slow during peak times. The library is useful but can be crowded. The hostel rooms need maintenance, and food quality varies in the mess. Medical facilities are basic, while sports amenities are decent for recreation.
Faculty: The teachers in my course are fantastic, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Their passion for the subject really shines through in their teaching. The curriculum is relevant and prepares us well for the industry, focusing on practical skills alongside theory. Semester exams can be challenging, but the pass percentage is 50%.
