I had the best experience of my life here. It's an amazing college with an amazing environment.

Placements: Almost every student gets placed through on-campus or off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 39 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc. For internships, the situation is slightly less favourable as not every student gets an internship. However, reputed companies visit our college to recruit students for internships.

Good Place to get into. There are many good opportunities for you if you study in NIT Durgapur.

Placements: If asked about placements, when coming to CSE, almost all the students get placed in some company or the other. This year, there are less than 10 CSE students who are not placed yet and there are 2 more software companies to come. Regarding package, which is what matters the most, Only a few people get some dream number like 40lpa. Package totally depends on an individual. But NIT Durgapur is a good place to get into if you are determined enough to do what you want to. You have the best opportun...

All facilities are average. Faculty was experienced but a bit rude.

Placements: Percentage of placement gradually decreasing (39% in the previous year). Avg package was near about 3 LPA. L&T, IOCL and many others recruited students from the campus. Less than 30% of the students got internship. The students are eligible only when they secured 8 above CGPA. Private companies generally gives us internship.

The top recruiting company of our college was L&T, and it recruited 80% of students. The role offered was as a manager. I think these companies are good for our department, but we want more companies to visit the campus for interviews, and even students have to achieve them through their grades.
